Incredible resolution and coverage. I did a firmware check and the device was up to date. Initially I used the included power source to set it up. There are a number of options so after watching a few videos on it and taking notes it was simple to decide what options were used during the initial setup. Wanting to use the hybrid parking mode I ordered the HK6 kit from the company site as it was not available on Amazon as of 9/2025. Installation was fairly straight forward, noting here the cable to the rear camera was the new thinner style so routing was easy. I ordered extra static stickers to allow for testing placement locations. The A329s was installed to the right of the rear view mirror housing which also allows access to sim and cables. Also it disconnects from the GPS by sliding right. The car has upper section tint on the front windshield, so the unit is attached there with only the camera lens showing. For the fisheye, it was initially installed with some double face foam tape to allow for easy placement changes. Initially it was to the left of the rear view mirror housing but was moved to the center of the housing for the best all around viewing. Configuring to your own desires and needs will provide the best functionality. As mentioned, plenty of options. With the HK6 cable, the voltage is set to 12 which allows for a full nights coverage and the car starts in the morning (grin). Noting here about setup: Much easier to use the app on your phone. Overall after a month of use I’ve found it to a fine value and durable as I’ve had no issues.

I’ve tried a few dash cams in my time, but the Viofo A329S with its three-camera setup is truly in a class of its own. From start to finish, it’s been a fantastic experience. Whether you're looking for solid video quality, ease of use, or an all-around reliable system, this dash cam has it covered. First off, the video recordings are incredibly crisp and clear, even in challenging lighting conditions. The front, rear, and cabin cameras provide excellent coverage, capturing every angle with impressive detail. I feel confident knowing that I have such reliable footage in case I ever need it. Installation was a breeze. I managed to get it set up quickly with no hassle. The included instructions were easy to follow, and I was able to get all three cameras positioned just right in no time. The real kicker here is the app, programming and adjusting the settings through Viofo’s app is seamless. It’s user-friendly and works flawlessly, which is a huge plus. If I had to nitpick, the only downside I’ve found so far is that firmware updates have to be downloaded externally and manually transferred to the unit. It’s a bit of an inconvenience, but it’s a small price to pay for such a high-quality product. Overall, Viofo has definitely raised the bar in the dash cam category. I’m more than satisfied with my purchase and can wholeheartedly recommend the A329S to anyone looking for a top-tier dash cam setup.

I have installed this and all working fine except for the new app does not want to connect from my iphone 16 pro max to the dash cam. Also i hope this will not have over heating problems in the summer here in California as it did on older models

Bought for $499 July 2025. The packaging is excellent. The product(s) feel high quality. The instructions are good. The settings are plentiful. I can have it stamp my GPS coordinates, my speed in MPH/KPH, my license plate, whatever name I want to label my car, and a whole lot more in the settings, and also none of the above if I choose. Connecting to the app was easy and seamless. The night vision picks up colors and lights very well, about as good as can be hoped for. The VIOFO 256gb SD card, I bought separately for $50, fits & saves files perfectly. I'm very happy with it. I think if it could pay for itself if I ever get into a wreck and need to prove my innocence. I highly recommend. Also, watch the comparisons "Project Farm" on Youtube did with dash cameras - he really sold me on this brand.

Excellent dash cam with many configurable features and options. The 2K/4K video quality are great. Easy to install.

Easy install and great video quality, wifi connection hasn't worked yet. Still trying to figure that one out. Would love to have a geofence option so when you park at home in your garage it shuts the camera off vs having to manually shut it off. I have parking recording turned on and after about 2 days if the car isn't moving it shows a draw on the battery when I start the car.

Wish I could have it uninstalled ! Downloaded the app which gets 1. 5 star reviews. How could something be so expansive have so many wrong doings? This is my first ever complaint as an Amazon customer for over 10 years . Cannot review any footage unless you are inside of the car on the phone app. Didn’t know that it wasn’t compatible until after installed with 2013 BMW (will not allow device to record while when car is turned off . Wish I knew all of this before placing it in our teenagers car. $500+ in the hole with install, device and warranty .

Everything is quite compact. You get a very good A329S Series User Manual which is a small glossy booklet but has very legible print despite its size. The astute observer will see in the list of contents that no SD card is included in the package. This dash cam is unique in that it supports external SSD storage. Now one would not expect that to be included with the dash cam as SSD storage would add some cost to the product. The dash cam is considered quite high end and it is evident by the price but I think that to not include even the microSD card is a serious omission. VIOFO recommends using the VIOFO industrial grade microSD card and be aware that this will add to your cost. I do like the detailed instructions. Another nice feature is the easily accessible menu buttons right on the front of the unit. The cables are also clearly labelled so this makes hook-up extraordinarily easy as you do not have to examine the cables to determine where exactly they should go. The rear camera on this model affixes to your rear window. There is an optional waterproof rear camera but the one provided makes for easier installation since there is no hardwiring involved with it and no need to fish wires from the inside to the outside of the vehicle. This package also includes a fisheye cabin camera. This is also installed on the front windshield to record the entire interior view. This is a very unique feature. The dash cam also has wi-fi and bluetooth features. There is also parking recording and there are five parking modes. However, to enable this function, you will need a hardwire kit, an OBD constant power cable or a battery pack. Using this function gets a bit more complicated for the novice but it is there if you need it and want to hook it up. This is definitely a high end dash cam and you will get quality video from it. However, some features like the parking mode will require additional expense and right off the bat, you will, at a minimum need that microSD card. One final note is that the camera does not come with different mounting options. All cameras have 3M mounting stickers for affixing the cameras.

I've been using Viofo cameras since the venerable A119 several years ago. They always offered a very good video quality and a solid feature set. The A329S 3 channel dash cam is a fantastic system that provides almost full coverage of the car's surroundings and interior. The ultra wide angle interior camera captures view through the side windows and I'm really surprised how much of the outside view it records. I initially thought that this 3rd camera would only have use in a ride share scenarios, but it actually significantly enhances the system allowing for recording of recording of possible developing situations, all kinds of side scrapes and of course parking mode dings and dents that normally wouldn't be covered by the front or rear cameras. Video quality is very good. The 4k front produces sharp footage and the HDR mode does a very good job balancing the shadows and the highlights. The rear on this model has been upgraded to 2K resolution, allowing far better plate recognition than was available on the older 1080p models. The interior camera does a very good job recording the car occupants even in complete darkness, thanks to its built in infrared illuminator. All the cameras have Sony Starvis 2 sensors and do a very good job capturing detailed night time footage. I upgraded from an older dash cam with a Sony Exmor sensor, and the difference is huge - far less noise, good detail and all that without the typical smearing that the noise reduction algorithms used to cause on the old dash cam. Going through the footage from three cameras can be a bit daunting and I really like the multiplexing mode offered on these new Viofo models. In this view, the footage from all cameras is synchronized and combined into a single video file. If you choose to have 2 cameras, then the video feeds will be presented side by side. Three camera mode will display a full size front camera with two down-scaled views from the rear and interior units below. This combined view works great for sharing footage with others. The A329S is one of Viofo's flagship models and fully supports recording when the car is parked, including their newest low power mode where only the sensors that detect collision are powered up and in such an event the camera wakes up to capture a short snippet. This is a perfect mode for long term parking where you want to maximize the battery. In order to enable the parking modes on the camera, you will have to either wire the dash cam into your car battery or install an additional battery pack that can take over and power the camera when the car is turned off. In my car I'm using a Blackboxmy car battery and in my wife's car I have a Blackvue battery - I'm just got the cheapest one at the time, they both perform the same. I prefer the additional battery even thou it adds significantly to the cost of the installation, because I've had issues with the car batteries getting low enough that the car's computers complain. Now normally this shouldn't be an issue with a proper installation - when the Viofo dash cam hardwire kit detects low car battery voltage it shuts off the camera - but it seems like the stop and go systems in some models are very sensitive to the battery voltages. With the additional dash cam only battery, the car battery never gets drained by the camera. The additional battery charges when the car is running (when wired into the fuse box, mine charges fully in less than 45 minute). One additional feature that the A329 series has is the ability to store recordings on an external drive. This is not something I intend to use, but it is a feature that offers additional safety in case of a break in - it's easy to grab the dash cam from the windshield, but not so easy to take a well hidden drive. Overall, the A329S 3 channel camera with cabin fisheye is a fantastic option. A flagship model with excellent video quality, blazing fast WiFi transfers speed and great coverage for the front, rear, interior and even the sides of the car. Expensive, but absolutely worth it!
