These were a game changer for me. I have severe back and hip arthritis, and bending and twisting to clip my own toenails had become a painful ordeal, nearly impossible. I used these clippers for the first time today, and here’s what I found:1. Clippers are supposed to come with their own Allen wrench for adjusting for right handed or left handed use. Unfortunately, the box did not include an Allen wrench, so I had to hand tighten them (I will look for a wrench that fits later), which made it necessary for me to retighten the bolt once while I was using them. That said, I think once properly tightened, they’d be very sturdy.2. Nothing will give you the accuracy and control that a traditional set of clippers will. If you are physically capable of trimming without any adaptive tools, these would probably be a disappointment.3. This was my first pain free trim in over a year. Well worth the expense and the minor caveats. For perfection, go to a salon; for special care (ingrown nails, etc), go to a podiatrist; for a quick at-home trim, these are fine.

Very sturdy, but a little difficult to learn to use and control, and a bit overpriced. Good for cutting toenails straight across, I guess. You will need to get a professional pedicure, or visit a podiatrist for trimming the edges or anything more.

I don't know about you, but my toenails aren't flat across ... they curve downward toward the edges. Trying to get this device with its straight-across cutting surface positioned on the nail was absolutely impossible. I finally gave up trying and donated it to charity. Useless.

This thing is AWESOME! I haven't been able to reach, or get to my right foot for over 30 YEARS due to having my hip fused. It's always been a pain in the butt having my toenails cut. I feel like my prayers have been answered! I'm just thinking HOW on earth have I NEVER heard of this before? 🤔So not only do I have trouble reaching my foot but I've also got extremely thick nails. They're embarrassing, so much so that I've had them removed more than once. 😭 At least now I can trim them up myself in-between my visits to the podiatrist every 2 months. I've even been able to skip a month.It was important for me to have something I could squeeze easily due to a childhood injury of cutting the tendons and nerves and then more resntly breaking my hand and wrist. In addition to 'good luck' I just don't have the strength or dexterity. This extension is the easiest thing to squeeze, way easier than I expected! The nail clippers opened up wide enough for most of my nails but I had to take my time and go slow doing a little at a time. When I had trouble I taped my crystal nail file to the end of the pole, on the opposite side of the clippers, and I could then file my nail down making it thin enough for the clippers. I also needed to file the jagged edges so they don't snag on my compression stockings. This tool has been a game changer!! 💪 😍I recommend it to everyone whose in need of assistance with nail care!Let's show those toes some love, this makes it doable!On another note...🤔 💭 I wish that Amazon would make it possible for people to comment on reviews, or at least send messages for those who are interested in receiving them. A good device to have but you still got to do your work you got to maintain your flexibility it delivers as it shows

Nice invention but took me awhile to figure out how to get clippers to actually open and close because there is no video how to. I had to look up a similar item. Once I did figure it out, its kind of scary to use because you aren't sure if you are going to cut your toe nail or skin.
