They feel great in the hand. The wooden handles are smooth and the balls have a nice weight to them. They are great massage tools. I highly recommend.

Would be better if they were 2” longer. Works good for manual massage tho.

I use them for leaning or sitting on, to press on pressure points. The ball is nice and firm for this purpose. I don't use them to bong. I use the stick to aim it. After you use it for maybe 6-12 months, pulling it in and out of areas with the stick, the ball does come unglued from the stick. The original intention-- just holding the handles and "bonging"-- I wouldn't think they would ever come unglued that way. I just buy a new pair after that. It's worth it to me. They work great for my purpose.

I wish I could have purchased just one but almost all similar items also sold in pairs. This is very well made and delivers solid percussion. I’m using it on my neck on the advice of my acupuncturist for chronic headache and am already feeling results after a couple days. Works well on my tight calves as well.

I found a pair of these nearly 30 years ago in Austin, Texas, eventually lost both and was thrilled to find them again here. I have chronic migraines accompanied by back and shoulder spasms. When more subtle treatments don't work, I take one of these, cross my arm behind my neck, and beat the living hell out of clenched muscles. I'm sore the next day, but usually the biting spasmic knots are greatly loosened and I am filled with gratitude for whoever designed these things. Of course, Bongers are even better when applied as a pair by a second party, but I lived alone, so I do the best I can!

Returned one set because of crack in the handle but very satisfying with the product
