Bought it to make dog food and for that purpose, it is fine.
it's fine. I bought it for my dog because I make homemade dog food for her. She loves it. I personally probably would not use it for human consumption unless there is a crisis, but for Lily it is a good thing. I do agree with another reviewer that there is a lot of dust or powder in the can--the chicken rehydrates but doesn't really plump up much. It's ok.

Pricey, but tasty.
Flavor is decent, but price is prohibitive. This company needs to rethink packaging. Cans are all one size, and take up tons of room in the pantry, needlessly. I must say that the quality of the product is very good and I've rehydrated and used in salads with good results.

This chicken is nice to have for camping trips but my husband complains about how dry it is.

Very tiny pieces of chicken, lots of chicken dust
Tiny chicken pieces with a TON of chicken dust. Not what I expected.

The meat is quite pulverized and there is a lot of chicken dust.

Should be called powdered chicken!
This chicken tastes good and is useful in soups, etc. However, the stuff comes loose in the can and has obviously been handled enough to make much of it into a nearly useless powder. Don't bother.

I can't can meats so this was great for me.
I add it into so many recipes like chicken noodle soup, and any type that you want chicken instead of meat. The chicken taste great and as always I would recommend Honeyville to anyone. I think they are the best freeze dried and dehydrated food products out there.

Hard to find but good stuff
I use this as a treat for my cats. It has taken zero time for them to figure out where the can is and to dance and twirl in front of the pantry door to please-please-please have some. I'd say it's a hit!
