Worth more then it's sold for
This tablet is my very first drawing tablet thats it's own computer, for it's screan size and it being light makes it very easy to hold for very long periods of time, the display has wonderful features meant for late night browsing or reading, it coming with 8gb of ram including the 8 more digital ram which means that it's very fast, you get 4 speakers with very good sound quality, setting it up is like writing the ABC it's basically easy, for 250 your getting a super fast tablet including a case, big screan, and a very professional pen, this is worth the money for those who like drawing reading and simple browsing

A Good, Solid Tablet & Good Value
I've used a lot of tablets over the years, both androids and Ipads. The super glossy screens were always prone to glare and fingerprints. The matte screen on the TCL is different. It is much less prone to glare, and doesn't show fingerprints. I primarily use my tablets for studying, though I did try a game or two on the TCL. They ran well. Sound is loud, but quality is just OK. The screen is very easy to read, which very important to me. I like that this tablet came with a good case and stylus. It's frequently difficult to find cases for less common tablets. The way the stylus magnetically attaches to the side of the tablet is clever. Battery life is good. The overall take on android is pleasant, without a bunch of extra junk. If you're looking for a tablet for reading and studying, this is a good choice.

Wonderful and versatile tablet great for multiple purposes
I was thoroughly impressed by this tablet of how much it can accomplish. I was able to watch movies, jot down notes, sketch out ideas, and read pleasantly through the different modes. It was pretty simple to switch between the different modes depending on what you want to do with it. I took this tablet on a long plane ride and I was able to read an entire book, watch a movie, and sketch out some ideas. I was debating on getting a dedicated E reader but then I would also need the functionality to sketch and at times relax and watch a movie or stream. This device satisfies all of my requirements. Overall I highly recommend this TCL nxtpaper tablet for the look, feel, and usability.

Best tablet for the price
Been using the tablet for 4 days. For the price, it gives you more than what you pay, but are little things I didn't like. It came with case and pen. Bought it from Argentina and arrived in 4 days. Pros: - Screen. The QHD screen is very good for reading, browsing and study. Multimedia is OK, the paper screen maybe it's not the best for that, but after a while watching content I forget that. The 120hz panel is a good adition, but feels almost strange with the mediatek, most of the time is like the screen is refreshing at 120hz but the CPU just can't have the power to reach that rate. I read almost 4 hours without resting my eyes and didn't have any complain. The screen is clearly the best part of the tablet and where most money was spent. NXTPAPER modes are also good. I use the Ink (black and white) mode for read and the brightness between 2% and 5%, it's enough for me for reading with dayligh inside my home without any issues. It's not Ink Screen, but it's so close. - Performance. As I said, the CPU feels like a limit for those 120hz but as long as you don't want the tablet to play demanding games, you'll be fine. I tested it with PDFs, Youtube, Netflix, take notes (more info about that in the T-Pen section), everything was very smooth and 0% laggy. As for the RAM, don't have anything to complain. 8GB is good for do the things I mentioned. I can switch between chrome, acrobat, onenote, notebooklm i.e without any app restart. - Battery: 8000mha it's OK, not much but not little, just OK. First use of the tablet will drain it so fast, installing apps, configuring it, etc etc. Once you finished the setup process, a normal use of the tablet gives me between 6 and 8 display hours. T-Pen: I'm not a drawer so I just can say if it's good for that or no. It's the first tablet with a pen for me and I don't have any issues, works as it's supossed to. The tablet has some problems of palm reject in some apps. I didn't have this problem in OneNote (it has an option to disable finger touch when it detects a pen) and J Notes. Also the stock Notes app works good but it's trash, I can't see me taking notes in that thing. Acrobat has problems when you want to write in a PDF, it detects pen but also my palm. Cons: - OS: the OS between the NXTPAPER tablets lacks of "equality". While other tablets like the 11 Gen 1, Gen 2, 14 has options to set a percentage to stop the charge, the 111 Plus doesn't. Other things like the PC Mode, also present in those 3 models it's not here. I feel very bad putting the OS in this section because in fact, it's good. The tablet is running Android 15 and TCL UI 8.0.1RCY (is the latest version) and everything is good, feels like a stock android with their own style (which I found good), but how can the best 11 model have less features than it's cheaper models? - Case: the case is good but it's no magnet. And I'm not talking about the rear part being magnet, I mean the front. If you took the tablet from the lower part of the case and put the screen down side, the case will open thanks to the lack of a little magnet. - Pen nibs: meanwhile the pen is good, the support that TCL gives is ̶a̶l̶m̶o̶s̶t̶ 0. I've been searching where to found nibs for the pen and it's kinda impossible from the TCL side. The pen of the Ugee UT2 and 3 is the same (yes, it's the same) but if you aren't in a country where Ugee ships (like me), it's a problem. Other things: Sound: It's good enough. There is a "sound boost" mode wich turn on when you raise the volume even more after reaching 100% but it just destroys the quality. USB C: I made this just to clarify. The USB C is 2.0, what means? HDMI is not an option on this tablet. Other things like hubs, pendrives, joysticks, etc works without problem. But if you need to show the tablet screen on a tv or monitor, there's no other way than cast it. I recommend the tablet. Even after the cons I've found, can't say "don't buy it" for those things. Don't get me wrong, I'm angry not having options, the PC Mode was a very important thing for me because I wanted to replace my laptop for this tablet for my classes and not having the ability to protect the battery in 2026 is wild. But overall the tablet is so good. For some people the screen may be the best to replace an ebook, for others may be not the best. Unfortunately there's no way to say which group will suit you. But maybe I have a little trick for you: I've found that in my PC monitor I can set a monochromatic view mode. With that, low brightness and slightly reducing the value of the B channel in the RGB settings until you notice that the screen turns slightly orange; could be a good start to check if the NXTPAPER screen is for you. I'll keep trying the tablet and updating this review is anything of what I said changes.

Great value
Was a little nervous about the tablet given the price point. Before buying, Gemini suggested a more expensive tablet and faster tablet. I'm happy I stuck with this. The chipset is definitely powerful enough for what I use it for. It runs the full Microsoft and Google suite of apps no problem. No problems doing splitscreen or multi tasking. Easily can pan through large PDFs. Probably a little slower and choppier than the high end tablets but definitely not enough to bother me, especially sub $250. Makes a great digital notepad. I use it next to my desktop as an additional screen and run all my docs off of the cloud. YouTube/video runs smooth. Great screen for reading. Definitely could replace a Kindle. Camera is good enough for video calls. The cameras on pretty much any phone today will be better though Speakers are serviceable. Talk to text works great. Has a nice suite of built in AI features. Happy I got the case. It makes a good stand

No Post-Product Support
If you want this only for reading, this might be a solid option. It certainly seems it for the price and included accessories. A tablet at this price with a case (even if it's a fairly standard, cheap one that other tablet models have floating around for sub-$20) and a stylus seems like a steal. But, if you want to use this for writing or drawing (you know, two of the three things this tablet is really advertised doing well), that stylus is the big problem that brings down the whole package, frankly. The T Pen is very low quality and performs terribly, offering no real tilt use for shading, having a fair bit of lag to it, and hitting the screen with harsh tapping sounds every time you use it. It stinks to use. The real kicker is that if you manage to put up with that and hit the point of needing a new nib for the T Pen, TCL does not have a solution for you. You either buy a whole new T Pen from them or you play roulette buying another brand of stylus and hoping it works. They simply do not sell nibs in North America, and, given how long the product has been on market, they simply don't plan on it. Save your money, spend it on a tablet from a company that has figured out the answer to "what does a customer do if they need a new pen nib?"

Great Tablet!
Really happy with this purchase. The screen is huge and super smooth when you're writing or drawing with the stylus. It actually feels natural, not laggy like some cheaper tablets I've tried. The display is easy on my eyes, which is great because I use it for hours taking notes at work. The stylus comes with it, which saved me money since I didn't have to buy one separately. I mainly got it for digital note-taking but I've been using it for sketching too. Works great for both. The picture quality is really clear and everything runs smoothly. For the price, you're getting a solid tablet that does what it's supposed to do. Would definitely recommend it!

returned - screen is not what I imagined
For the cost, it's an acceptable tablet with no delays or lag or stuttering. But the whole reason I bought this tablet over gloss-screened competitors was the paperlike screen coating and the promises of no eye fatigue. However, the screen has a polarization to it that makes using it in portrait mode very fatiguing (landscape mode does not have this issue), so I returned the device. For a screen that received such universal praise from reviews and promised so much in its item description, I was surprised by this obvious issue. Maybe it's an interaction with a coating on my prescription glasses? For those who would be bothered by it, the screen brightness is primarily controlled through a small button in the notification center, not its own wider dedicated slider. I would consider that annoying but I already decided to return the device once I had experienced the screen polarity weirdness.
