Laptop IDE Converter Cable 2.5" to 3.5" Hard Drive HDD Adapter Lead I bought this as my friend has had a laptop go down.It does what it's supposed to with absolutely no problems whatsoever, so if you need this cable to take data from the hard drive of your broken laptop it will work perfect.But this adapter will only allow you to use one 2.5" hard drive (44 Pin).If your main hard drives are sata, and your dvd drives are sata, and you have a spare IDE socket on your motherboard, it will work fine and you will be able to retrieve any important data stored on it.There's no instructions with it, so make sure you've got the laptop hard drive connected the right way.Overall I was happy with it, and was happy to help someone who needed it.

No problems, worked fine. Lack of guides on 2.5" side annoying but I think that's a feature of the 2.5" drives not the cable.

Was soll man groß zu einem Adapterkabel schreiben, Ich hatte eine alte Laptop Festplatte herumliegen die Ich in einem älteren PC der nurnoch als Mediaspeicher dient einbauen wollte, mit diesem Adapterkabel garkein Problem, ein Ende in die Festplatte das andere ins Mainboard noch kurz einen freien Stromstecker am Netzteil suchen die Laptopfestplatte im Diskettenschacht des PCs verschraubt und los - auch für Laien (wie mich) absolut machbar.
