Get it if you can. Really great.
Didn't get the Asus or Dell brands because of the pixel warranty from viewsonic and it's "more" simple styling (except the little rgb is awesome on this). Also opt for the additional insurance through Amazon if you can. Arrived with no defects, no flicker, no problems whatsoever. Drivers plug and play, but be sure to configure settings on the driver software to ensure you're running 144hz 1440p and GSync, then you're good to go to manage the setting's physical buttons, which are fairly frustrating to use being unlabeled and seemingly change around through each menu, but the display makes up for it and everything was manageable. The Rgb by the way is right in front of you in the middle of the stand, and it changes with whatever you have on the screen -- all the colors, not too fast, really well done. Only con I have is that I wish I had known about the separate power adapter it has, imagine a laptop charger brick. Not a deal breaker, but it was new info to me.

27" to replace a 24" -- just buy two
I have a double 24" LED monitor display for my home office. Both Samsung monitors that I've been very happy with. When our 3rd monitor died, I volunteer'd one of my 24", so I could upgrade to more realestate on a 27". Searched aroaund, and focused on ViewSonic. I was happy with them in past as well. Really the picture quality is above all my expectations. I have not gamed with the monitor, so cannot speak to that. The only negative I have, is that the buttons on the side to operate monitor settings is not as user friendly as it could be. I switch monitor inputs very frequently, its a 3/4 button press exchange each time. I wish the buttons were programmable, so that I could have a button simply toggle the video input source. Install and setup was a breeze. I would certainly buy it again, and would recommend to anyone. Perfect home/office monitor. Pros: - price - looks - build quality - picture quality - responsiveness Cons: - monitor control/menu navigation

Great monitor! Better QC than ASUS PG278QR!
Took a chance and bought this new model (XG2760) with no reviews that I could find. I had previously bought the ASUS PG278QR but it had backlight bleed along the bottom and the panel was brighter on the left and top. This Viewsonic in comparison is beautiful! No backlight bleed and the panel is very uniform. I also have a 32" BENQ VA and this new XG2760 looks VERY close in image quality (Despite being a TN panel). I think this might be the same panel as the ASUS or maybe a newer version as they both had good colors but this has no defects! G-Sync works great in the few games I've tested it on (Overwatch, Wreckfest, Fortnite). Build quality is close if not as good as the ASUS. I prefer the design of the Viewsonic but I liked the OSD controls on the ASUS more.

2 Monitors, Both with varying dead pixels out of box - DOA - ViewSonic XG2760 27" 144hz 1ms
I was really excited about this monitor and it looks great for a TN display and Gysnc works amazing. My gripe is I have had 2 monitors now and both have had dead pixels out of the box. The first one had 2 stuck red pixels and the one I just received has a dead pixel in the middle of the screen. ViewSonic has a zero dead pixel policy... But I dont want to have to keep exchanging to get a fully working monitor. I get these can go bad from use, but have stuck red pixels or a dead one in the middle of the screen kind of ruins any web browsing as it just sticks out. I dont know if there is a QC issue or if this is the norm... Anyways Im hoping things can get worked out and I will adjust my rating accordingly. Again its an amazing TN gaming monitor for the short bit i have used it. Unfortunately A white screen test and other color screen tests have shown dead pixels on both displays out of the box. hopefully 3rd time is the charm.... I have messaged viewsonic via email to hopefully figure things out otherwise I guess its time to swap again and hope for the best. I really hope this isnt an issue with these. There are a lack of reviews on this new 27" monitor and I took a gamble giving it a shot not knowing much about QC. fingers crossed

Great monitor 27" 2k 144hz model
Great monitor, the picture and overall quality are what you'd expect for a quality display maker like ViewSonic. One thing that is kind of bugging me and may not be an issue for all people is the placement of the headphone jack. This monitor gets audio in through the display port interface which is fine but I use headphones about 80% of the time and the only way to switch between the internal speaker and headphone jack is to physically unplug the headphones... which wouldn't be a big deal except the jack is on the back of the display where I have to reach around under it and fumble around blind to unplug/replug. I really wish it was located on the front or side or bottom or something, it would be a lot more convenient that way. Still it's a great monitor.

Panel Lottery
I'm really getting tired of this generation of panels.. I've bought 2 monitors so far... The "Asus PG278QR" and the "ViewSonic XG2760". Both panels can't display blacks correctly and I personally think they use the same panel for both since they both are a Taiwanese company. I do have to admit that the Asus had some less black uniformity issues but a dead pixel had developed with in one week of use.. now this XG2760 is even worse with the black uniformity..(colors are ok, on the Asus was better for sure, it's over saturated on the ViewSonic.) But for the premium price you pay, it not worth it. I only lasted an hour with in use and I decided enough was enough. I'm going with a IPS panel for 1440p, TN panels are apparently aweful at this resolution compaired to 1080 res. i'll take my chances with the IPS glow and the "slower" pixel response.. If I could give Amazon a rating, I would give them 5 stars! But at this point, I'll stop buying Monitors from them because all I do is return it..

Got this monitor on Prime Day, so after a sizeable discount your getting a 165hz Gsync monitor with plenty of other bells and whistles. It’s not an IPS monitor but the colour are very good. I haven’t noticed and Colour bleeds. Being a TN panel, the blacks are very deep and rich. The gaming presets are decent and surprisingly still maintained good rich colours even when the gamma is turned slightly higher. Just remember you have to use the included DP cable and manually set it to 165hz in the OSD otherwise you will not see the 165hz options in your windows settings. First thing I did was to do a monitor test to make sure I don’t have any dead pixels and bleeding. All passed. Being 1440p at 27inches it definitely much better than running 1080p. Everything is much crisper. With the new GPUs (rtx 3000s and Big Nav 6000s), 1440p will slowoly become the standard resolution. So keep that in mind for future proofing. 4k is still best but nothing can run over 100+FPS anyway so 1440p will stay on top for a few years. Downsides: back buttons for the osd takes some getting used to. I still haven’t figured out how to save my own settings in the gaming presets and if it is possible Viewsonic sure didnt make that option user friendly. It’s is not an IPS so the colours can be much much better. But the response times makes up for that. The regular price is definitely a premium at over $750cdn. I would recommend to wait and see if you can snap this up under $550cdn and it would be a good purchase.

Disclaimer: got it on a hefty black Friday sale and for the price I paid its a great monitor. Looks great and functions well on both my PC (which makes full use of the monitor) and even looks good on my PS4

Being tasked with assembling my wife’s set-up, I wanted to give her a monitor that ticked all the boxes for her 2080 RTX rig. She liked my ultra wide Alienware, but I took advantage of a killer sale from Dell months ago, so that was out of our budget for now...Then we saw this guy, specs sounded good, G-sync enabled, sweet refresh rates, etc...Checked out a whack of various reviews and came to the conclusion this would be a killer screen for her first system. It’s been trouble free out of the box, and the “gaming green” highlights, are very subtle. All said she loves it!!...(I wish she’d move on to something more graphically challenging than “Stardew Valley”. Stupid Steam sale....)

Comming from a 21" 1080p monitor, this one is Much bigger. But also MUCH closer to me due to the stand, wich makes it even more big. Its a good screen, but i think 700cad is too much. I paid 520 during prime days, and i wouldnt pay much more. Maybe it is my gtx1070ti that limits the whole experiance, but i dont see a much better image quality from my 1080p compared to a straight 4k.

Blacklight bleed is awful, viewing angels are terrible and it 'overheats' then turns off when using the advertised 165Hz refresh rate. Poor performance for the cost. Considering that 1440p 144Hz IPS monitors are going for the same price, I could not recommend this monitor to anyone.
