Review of [Black] 3oz Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200 Fast CureWhen it comes to marine applications, safety and durability are paramount. After using the [Black] 3oz Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200 Fast Cure, I can confidently say that this product lives up to its professional-grade claim.Performance: 5/5The most impressive aspect of this sealant is its bonding capabilities. Designed to create a permanent bond, it’s suitable for a myriad of surfaces, including fiberglass, gelcoat, and wood. I applied it to several critical areas on my boat, such as deck fittings and transducers, and was pleased to find that not only did it grip tightly, but it also remained flexible enough to handle the rigors of vibration and movement typical on a boat. After a 24-hour curing time, the seal felt incredibly solid and showed no signs of weakness, even after being subjected to the rigorous conditions above and below the waterline.Ease of Use: 4.5/5Application was straightforward, thanks to the single-component formula that requires no mixing. The 3oz tube is user-friendly and manageable for small jobs. As someone who is not a professional, I appreciated the simplicity. The sealant dispenses easily from the tube, allowing for precise application on intricate parts of my boat. While the sealant does require some time to cure, the one-day wait was well worth the eventual peace of mind knowing I had a strong, watertight seal.UV Resistance and Longevity: 5/5One of my major concerns before using any sealant was its ability to withstand UV exposure. After spending considerable time in direct sunlight, I was pleased to see that this adhesive maintained its integrity without any degradation, cracking, or peeling. The fact that it holds up in both saltwater and freshwater environments speaks volumes about its versatility and durability. This is particularly important for those who keep their boats in sun-drenched locations or harsh marine conditions.Environmental Considerations: 4/5In today’s world, it’s crucial to consider the environmental impact of products we use. This sealant is solvent-free, non-toxic, and has low VOCs, making it a more responsible choice compared to many other marine adhesives on the market. This conscientious formulation gives added peace of mind for both the user and the marine environment.Value for Money: 4.5/5Although the initial price may seem a bit higher than some competing brands, the quality and performance justify the investment. Given its high-quality engineering, I found that this adhesive will likely outlast cheaper alternatives, resulting in long-term savings by avoiding repeat applications and repairs.ConclusionOverall, the [Black] 3oz Marine Adhesive Sealant 5200 Fast Cure is an excellent choice for anyone looking to secure their marine vessels or RVs effectively. Whether you’re a seasoned boater or a weekend enthusiast, this product brings a level of reliability and peace of mind that is invaluable. With its exceptional bonding capabilities, ease of use, and strong UV resistance, I highly recommend it for anyone needing a robust marine sealant.

Does not work as advertised
Not a good product. I applied as directed and it didn’t seal at all. I would not recommend.

Works Great
This adhesive has a ten year guarantee. I had a river float that had a tear, and I had tried many different adhesives, yet because of river rapids, rocky terrain, etc. nothing would seal the tear, and last. This adhesive not only has sealed the tear, but we’ve used the float on white water rapids, towed it behind a boat, and it’s been bounced on rocky, rough waters. It has held up perfectly, with no water leaking in, or air escaping. This sealant is very simple to use, the instructions are explicit, and guide you through step by step.I would definitely purchase this sealant again, as it does just as it advertises.

Convenient Portion of Sealant
I have actually used the Tylove branded 5200 sealant a few times before, usually in the tube version. There are many times where I don't require a large amount of sealant, and I don't want to open a caulking tube for such a small job (because once you open it, it's almost impossible to keep the tube's contents from solidifying over time, and it's not something you need that frequently). This is where these smaller packages of sealant are useful.I recently restored a classic 15ft Boston Whaler, and I placed electrical components under the small wood console. The pieces of wood at the top of the console don't make a watertight connection, so I used this black variant of the Tylove 5200 sealant to fill in this gap discretely to keep rainwater from dripping down the inside of the console. It looks and performs great! This 3oz tube was the perfect amount to do this, and the sealant hardened and made a good watertight bond. This brand produces a few different colors of sealant, and the only marking that tells you the color is a stamp on the backside of the tube (pictured), so check this before you open. This portion of sealant is perfect for specific jobs, but if you have a lot of items you need sealed on your boat, the better value is going to be getting a tube of this stuff. The product works and seals well, so I have no issues giving it my recommendation.

Good watertight sealant
I had a couple scratches and cracks on my kayak and got this to help seal it up. It seems to hold pretty well after drying and is watertight. I can confirm it bonds to fiberglass and helps seal it. It has held up well so far without any cracking or shrinking. It includes some basic tools for usage, but note that they're essentially one time use. They can't really be cleaned after the adhesive gets on them. I don't know how well this holds up in storage once the seal is cracked--but it probably won't last very long. It's a one part sealant so the curing process starts right away. I think it's a (water) moisture curing process based on instructions. I have it in a ziploc bag for storage, but would recommend using it all up right away.I did not test this on joints or anything critical, so can't comment on how well it holds up structurally.
