Needs calibration
Although a beautiful instrument it was not well calibrated giving high readings. Unfortunately the calibration is set in the factory and does not provide a way to recalibrate the instrument.

Immediately out of calibration
I have had several Weems and Plath instruments in the past and all have been of high quality, so I was disappointed after buying a three instrument set of the endurance line that the hydrometer in the comfortmeter is off by 35-40%. This not owner adjustable. This unacceptable from such an expensive instrument.

Excellent Quality
Weems & Plath makes beautiful equipment. It's pricey but worth every cent. Never hesitate to invest in one of their items. And it is an investment -- you can hand it down to your grandchildren and know it will keep working and continue to look good. Use it at home, or know it will be equally okay on your water craft.

Good quality at a nice price.
Very good quality. Easy to install but you will need the room ( top & bottom ) because they slide on to a bracket. Purchased only a month ago, they work and look great.
