Accepted Answer

Ladybugs are commonly released during cooler times of the day, such as early evening or dusk, when outdoor temperatures are moderate.

Question 5

How should ladybugs be stored before release?

Accepted Answer

If temporary storage is needed, ladybugs may be kept in a refrigerator (not freezer) at cool temperatures for a short period. Always follow the included handling instructions.

Question 6

How many ladybugs are suitable for my garden area?

Accepted Answer

The appropriate quantity depends on garden size and layout. Smaller garden areas typically require fewer ladybugs, while larger outdoor spaces may benefit from larger quantities.

Question 7

Can ladybugs be released indoors or in greenhouses?

Accepted Answer

Ladybugs may be released in greenhouses or enclosed plant environments when appropriate conditions such as plants and moisture are present.

Question 8

Do ladybugs require moisture?

Accepted Answer

Ladybugs are commonly found in environments where moisture is present. Light misting of plants or releasing near watered areas may help provide suitable conditions.

Question 9

Can ladybugs be released in cooler weather?

Accepted Answer

Ladybugs are more active in moderate temperatures. Releasing them when outdoor temperatures are consistently above cool thresholds is generally recommended.

Question 10

Will ladybugs stay in my garden after release?

Accepted Answer

Ladybug behavior varies. Some may remain nearby if suitable outdoor conditions are present, while others may naturally move on. This is normal behavior for live insects.

Question 11

Accepted Answer

Ladybugs are shipped in breathable containers designed to allow airflow and help maintain suitable conditions during transit.
