A MUST HAVE book!
A MUST HAVE book! The late Antonio Calluccio was an absolute gem to have in one's kitchen. If not him, but his wonderful books on food. He knew how to tempt the palette to taste/eat the simplest foods, and make them seem like a banquet.

Antonio the Italian mushroom monk
This is a truly remarkably well written and highly interesting and leading work on wild mushrooms, cooking, safety, and codes of conduct. Antonio realy cares about the world he forages in and gives advice as to how to follow the same way. His accurate discriptions on edible mushrooms along with his coding for poisonous or harmful mushrooms is easy and helpful, I have found his 100 recipes very nutrisious and appetizing and I will be keeping his book on my shelves for the rest of my life.Philip55

Beautiful book to treasure
I knew Antonio and loved him. This is a beautiful book with delicious recipes with one of his favourite ingredients.The recipes are clear and work. The book is a delight to own and use.

A good quality book at a low second hand price. Good enough for a present, which is what I used it for.

This is the best.
A marvellous book - inspiring. Makes one want to go out in the woods and go hunting. Combine that with some awesome recipes. Hey presto, Mr Carluccio has done it again. Truly a mushroom guru... I bet he is also a fun guy !!! Anyhow jokes aside, this book is a feast. Mycologists around the world will love it.
