This is the 3rd time I’ve bought this same camera. Excellent piece of technology. Works well and has a long WiFi connection range. The app is good but not full screen on your mobile phone, full screen would obviously be better. Easy to set up. If you have the camera on all day I recommend you put it on charge ready for the next day.

Great piece of kit. Attached magnetically to the offside rear corner steady of caravan. I wasn't convinced it would last long, but 2,000 miles later it's still attaching perfectly and working a treat. Considering the state of some of the UK roads, I'm amazed it hasn't been shaken off but it has not budged. Worth every penny and much cheaper and less intrusive than other rear view installations. If you are planning on using split screen with Google maps on a tablet, this works well but could do with a 4g tablet. The tablet connects to the camera via its own WiFi network which means there is no Google maps connection for traffic updates etc. Works perfectly with Google maps in split screen on a phone.

Isn't as sharp as 1080p. Magnetic base is good. Solid and well built. Some comments mention bars on the top and bottom of the screen, simply swipe on the screen and they disappear. Swipe again to bring them back.

Really impressed with this camera. Used in my horse trailer to keep an eye on the horse whilst travelling. Great clear picture quality, strong magnet which attached easily to frame and image was full size of phone in landscape mode. Very happy with this purchase!!

Set up is a bit fiddly but eventually got it connected and the picture was good and the range was more than adequate for use on a trailer. Build quality was fine and the magnet strong. However after initially set up the connection would only be successful about once in every 20 attempts and then the camera stopped emitting a WiFi signal altogether and so it’s gone back. Shame as when it did work briefly it was exactly what I needed

I bought this camera as my wife's new car didn't have a reversing camera and she finds one useful. I chose this design because it has a metal mounting bracket that meant it would be possible to fit it onto the back of her car, hanging down from the boot release assembly (in a similar position to the camera on my car). Installation was tricky enough as the car is a hatchback and I needed to be creative in how I routed the wires to the front of the car, but once that little problem was solved it was as simple as sticking the camera in place using the supplied adhesive pad (screws are also provided) and routing power and video feed lines. The supplied video cable is long enough to reach the monitor (not supplied) at the front of the car with a bit left over. It has a red wire at each end, these may be used to carry power to the monitor (although I didn't use them). The power cable is a standard barrel jack type and is quite long, although I did join it to another piece of wire that was routed to the reversing lights. Picture quality from the camera is excellent, and as you can see in the picture, the camera includes guide lines on the video feed - these may be removed if desired by cutting the white wire on the camera power cable. NOTE: The presence of this wire does NOT mean the camera is faulty or damaged as some other reviewers have suggested!! The metal bracket is removable from the camera if you want to mount it inside your car's bumper, but but this bracket can also be rotated to suit your mounting requirements (the silver label on the camera body is the top!) All in all this is a great wee camera if you're looking for a cheap aftermarket solution for adding a reversing camera to a car.

The display and image quality are good. However, it's pretty much useless as a wireless reverse camera. The sole purpose of it is to see when you're reversing. I've fitted on my campervan and the first time I went to reverse it was flat even though it was fully charged. I assumeed it went into sleep mode when not in use. Twice in 4 days since when I was reversing into a bay I had to get out , climb on to the roof and switch it on manually. Definitely going back, not fit for purpose as a wireless reverse camera.

It is a nice camera for the job that is made for. It intended to be used as a reverse camera which can be fitted so neatly over the number plate. I already have an original such camera fitted by the car manufacturer and no need for this type of camera. I ordered it in expectation of having a rearview camera. It is a nice camera for reversing but for sure it is not the best choice a permanent rear view

Fazit: ******* Die Rückfahrkamera hat ihre Vorzüge, denn sie kann an schnell an verschiedenen Anhängern oder Wohnwägen befestigt werden und besitzt kein Kabel, welches aufwendig zu montieren ist. Die App sollte meiner Meinung nach verbessert werden, da sie nicht aktuell ist und teilweise Aussetzer zeigt. Allerdings gibt es zwei, teilweise besser, funktionierende Programme. Die Videoqualität ist dem Preis angemessen. Aussehen-Qualität: ********************* Optisch wirkt die Kamera wertig, die Verarbeitung ist gut und das Gehäuse abgedichtet. Funktion: *********** Ich finde es wirklich praktisch, dass das Gerät keinen externen Stromanschluss benötigt. Dadurch müssen keine Löcher gebohrt und Kabel verlegt werden. Das Produkt verfügt über einen Magneten im Standfuß, allerdings wird noch ein Aufkleber mitgeliefert, der über eine Klettoberfläche verfügt, sodass die Kamera wirklich sicher befestigt ist. Aufgrund des verbauten Akkus und der damit verbundenen Abmessungen ist das Gerät eher für Anhänger oder Wohnwägen geeignet. Die Einrichtung ist ziemlich einfach. Gerät aufladen, App installieren, gerne auch über den Playstore, Kamera aktivieren und App öffnen, sodass das Netzwerk gefunden werden kann. Bei der App sehe ich noch Verbesserungspotenzial, stürzt teilweise ab, wenn man beim Verbinden den Bildschirm dreht. Ich habe ein S9 mit Android 9 und konnte die Internetseite mit dem QR Code nicht öffnen, sodass ich die App aus dem Store geladen habe. Alternative gibt es auch noch die iRearCam und die Dometic VT50, wobei letztere stabiler läuft. Die Safetyeye App basiert auf der iRearCam. Die Apps bieten nicht sehr viele Optionen, wobei die Safetyeye sogar Bilder machen und das Kamerabild spiegeln kann. Die anderen Beiden besitzen ebenfalls die Leitlinienfunktion. Das Bildmaterial, welches auf dem Smartphone erscheint, ist brauchbar und lässt verschiedene Objekte erkennen, jedoch sind die Details weniger vorhanden, als es die Produktbilder vermuten lassen. Die im Pajero verbaute Rückfahrkamera erzeugt ein wesentlich schärferes Bild, jedoch ist sie kabelgebunden und wesentlich teurer. Durchschnittlich arbeitet das Gerät mit 24Fps, also brauchbar.

Ich kann diese Kamera nur empfehlen. Aufgeladen, App geladen, in Betrieb genommen. Super einfach. Der Magnet haftet sehr gut und das Bild auf dem Handy ist auch toll. Ich nutze sie während der Fahrt in meinem Wohnwagen und Anhänger . Zum Einparken befestige ich sie anschließend außen am Hänger. Auch die Wifi Reichweite ist wie beschrieben, habe sie heute an einem 16 m LKW ausprobiert, funktioniert einwandfrei 👍
