Great kit for the price. Easy to use and read. I really appreciate the spare batteries in the case and the tool to swap them. I've been using this to design precision parts for 3D printing, and the fact that this can measure millimeters with two decimal accuracy is fantastic. Calipers have heft and feel nicely designed.

I'm pleasantly surprised with the quality of these. I needed something quickly for a project when my old ones suddenly crapped out. I'm not a machinist, just need something reasonably accurate to match hardware or check specs for metalsmithing & woodworking; so I picked these based on reviews & next-day shipping. For 15 bucks I assumed some component might be plastic, but apart from the case, these seem to be solid steel. Movement is smooth, readings are accurate, it came with a battery installed & 2 spares, which I didn't expect. I'm knocking a star off only for the fact that there is a crazy amount of play in the thumb wheel - like 1/32" up & down & side-to-side - apparently by design? You have to fiddle for a sec to make sure it's making contact. Once you use it for a bit you get the hang of it, so it's fine, especially for the price; but it's not an issue I've encountered in other cheaper models. All in all, these are way better than expected, and perfectly fine for all but the most technical uses.

This is made amazing. Heavy duty, easy to use, display is bright and easy to read. Even with smaller hands I can hold and roll the slider easily. I feel this was so worth the price.

I got this caliper mainly to help me as I restore an old car. The first thing I used it for was to measure various hoses, gaskets and fasteners to make sure that I buy properly sized replacements. I checked out a fuel gauge gasket and the reading was spot on. I'm blown away by the quality of it, and for what I paid I regard this as an absolute bargain. It has a nice hefty feel and the metal construction is very nice. Don't hesitate to pick this one up for your around home DIY projects.

Ever since I got this, I used it more than I realised I needed it. It was quite cheap, but accurate, easy to read, reset, and use, slides quite well, and has a locking mechanism which I feel is a must when the caliper is closed, since otherwise, a bump may turn it on.It looks well-built, functions well, and doesn't need a battery replacement often if it's not left on for an extended period of time due to not locking the caliper.
