These tap holder sockets make tapping holes much more convenient as one can use many different tools to rotate a tap, allowing better access to tap holes in a constricted area, or just making it easier to turn the tap other than a crossbar type of tap handle. They also hold the tap securely so it doesn't fall from the tool. They are very durable, too. I've has a set of these for many, many years and have found them to be durable with no loss of performance over time.

Needed just this one as I lost it from a complete set. It’s perfect for holding taps while tapping.

I purchased these to use on my impact driver at work. Unfortunately it did not fit my standard 3/8 x 16 thread tap. No complaints about the product itself though.
