I bought this to keep in my truck (89 Chevy K1500 with a 5.7 V8) in the event that my battery died, I didn't have to rely on finding someone to jump me off, and I was tired of having to jump people off with my vehicle. I previously bought a Noco Genius Boost starter for double the price for my daily driver and didn't want to spend that much again for this vehicle, so I figured I would try this out. Unfortunately for the sake of this review, I have not had the chance to use it out it because I decided to buy a new battery for this truck since the previous one was toast. I will note the positives that I see of it so far. It's been in my truck for a couple months so far and has barley dropped in battery life, which is great. It comes with all the same things the Noco came with, such as a built in flash light and 2 usb ports. The biggest positive of this kit that I have to mention is the case. The case is hard and is made to fit everything very neatly and zips up. The one that came with the Noco is just a small drawstring bag that hardly fits everything that came in their kit (I have to leave to actually jumper out of the bag due to it falling out from being overstuff with the other components of the kit). Therefore, from what I've seen so far, this is a great kit and as of now I would definitely purchase it over the Noco kit again. I will update this review whenever I get the chance to try it, which will hopefully not be on my vehicle!

It was 8 degrees below zero one day last year and my car would not start (at 4:30 AM) when I was on my way to work. Instead of calling off, I tried the Beatit D11 for the very first time. It started the car after about 2 seconds of cranking. I made it to work on time and am very glad to have this in my trunk.Just a note, however. I knew the very cold weather was coming, so I took the Beatit out of the trunk and brought it into my nice warm home thinking this was a safe decision. Didn't want to subject the Beatit to -8 degree conditions. If my car battery couldn't handle it, I didn't want to take the chance my backup could not, either.That was January, 2020. It's now January 2021 and my Beatit has been sitting in the trunk of my car for a year. I checked to see how strong the battery life was and it was at 67%. That's outstanding for sitting in the trunk for a year!!!

I had my Honda Fit serviced right before the stay-at-home lockdown and was told that my battery was a little weak. And then the quarantine started and I didn't drive my car for at least three weeks. Dead as a doornail when I try to Crank It Up and my husband drives an electric car so jumping my car from his didn't seem feasible. Ordering this charger cost less than getting my car towed in and with Amazon Prime I ordered in the afternoon and got it that same evening. After charging overnight, I attached it to the battery and my Fit started right up so I could go get a new battery installed. Easy to use and very powerful. Totally a good investment!

THE GOOD: In fairness, this product does work as a portable charger for your electronics. I even used the USB port on the left, which is 5v/2.1A, to charge my iphone 8 using a wireless charging station.THE BAD: It took me several minutes and multiple tries to get the jump starter to work. It was clear that no matter what I did there was no power being sent to the jumper clamps. The led on the clamp plug was flashing red and green, but there was no power getting to the vehicle battery. In the end I got it to work by continuously holding the button on the plug that connects the batttery clamps to the Beatit D11 while I started the vehicle. Luckily I was jumping a riding mower, so I could reach far enough to hold the button and turn the key at the same time. It would have been impossible to use on a car unless your arms are ten feet long or you have someone else with you. I bought this unit so I could use it when I am alone.I WAS ALSO DISAPPOINTED because, despite what the description says, after the one jump start that worked, the battery went from 100% to 25%. And yes, I checked the battery life display after each attempted jump. Then, to test it, (after I moved the mower as needed), I tried again. Despite holding the button, it took several more tries before it actually provided power to the battery (there is a voltmeter on the dash of the tractor). It did work a second time, but that took the battery of the Beatit D11 from 25% down to 10%.The unit seemed to have ample power to start the vehicle, but the difficulty using it and the rapid loss of battery life confirmed that this is not a good unit. NO, I would not generalize that all of these units are worthless. Our daughter was given a jumpstarter that looks identical to the Tacklife T6 (on Amazon) but has a different brand name... I think it's LifeStart or something like that. It works great. It can jump multiple cars without recharge, and works the first time, every time.

this is the greatest and most wisest investment i have made in a long time. If you are undecided or have heard negative things about these little power house jump starters. Put them all to rest and think no longer, This will not let you down when it comes time to need a jump start. Not to mention the other features that this unit can perform. Like during a power outage where you can keep your laptop, phone or any other USB devices charged and in use. It comes with a car adapter where you can charge it through your cigarette lighter or cars power source. Absolutely hands down the greatest investment I've made in some time. a great tool to have and user friendly.

I was very skeptical when this item came in because the cables for the clamps are WAY too small for the amount of power to jump a 5.9 diesel this says it can do bigger... what a joke. my truck LAUGHED at this thing. I was better off not having anything at all to be honest truck would barely turn over (This is purely due to the cold weather). The product looks great and sounds like its amazing for smaller engines or just gas engines, but the cranking output is not what it should be for a diesel of this size. oh well back to the drawing board.
