Super large shower cap

Good quality. Fits my large Afro and still has room for more. Very satisfied with the purchase. Update: purchased this 5 months ago. Used it everyday in the shower. The elastic gather (the ruffling around the head) ripped after 4 months of daily use. I’m reordering another one. I would love a jumbo shower cap that last year round! Is a girl asking for too much? Lol. Anyways, 4 months of daily use is not bad. I still think it’s a good quality of plastic and doesn’t get that musty smell that some shower caps get.

Large enough but not extra large

Owned two of these so far, and they usually last about 3 months before I put it on a little too hard and the cap snaps off the band, leaving a hole. The material isn’t terribly fluid either, so it sticks up, leaving a hole. Other than that, it keeps hair from falling out and keeps water out as well! Also very large which is great. :)

I could have used thus my entire life. I have thick hair with types 2C to 3C. On occasion I'll wear braids. This cap fits it all. The hair at the back of my head is no longer wet after a shower. If I wear it over my ears the sides stay dry too. There is a strong plastic smell as others have mentioned but that faded within a week or so. I'll probably get another one for traveling.

I have owned this shower cap since November of 2023 and it has served me well. I have it in blue (for my daughter), red (for me), and gray—I purchased some as part of a multipack. I have Type 4B mid-back length hair when flat ironed. I needed a big shower cap for whether my hair is straight or in its natural state. My red one stretched out after a period of time which was expected with long-term use, so I switched to the gray. But, my budget-conscious brain was intent on fixing the red one at a later time since I liked the color better. For a snug fit, just take part of the shower cap and overlap it at the elastic from the inside then sew it in place—took me about 5 minutes. It's only noticeable that you've made the repair when looking at the inside of the cap. Voila! You've just added more time to the life of your shower cap.

I thought it was the perfect cap, but after a couple of uses when the threads started popping up. I guess you get what you pay for. UPDATE!! After filling out the return, the company sent me a new cap. This one is exactly what I was looking for. I’m adding a new video to show it. The threads don’t pop out, and the cap seems to be well made. I think the first one they sent me was from a bad batch, but they have fixed the problem. Now I’m happy with my purchase and recommend it.

This will definitely hold protective hairstyles that are bulky and long. I have an egg shaped head and this is the only shower cap to fit me and make me feel secure in the shower. I wear my natural hair buns on top of my head and my hair fits with much room to spare and my bun is not smashed. However 4 mos later the elastic has stretched and no longer snuggly fits, I will need a new one. The overall shower cap is still in great shape and durable. It did smell like a shower curtain a week or so out the plastic but it wears off. I think if they could make the elastic adjustable like children's clothing bottoms have in the waist, this cap would be 5 🌟 I recommend it and would buy again especially because it is inexpensive. I've spent more money repurchasing hair store/walmart shower caps in a year than I will buying 3 if these in a year. UPDATE: Reordered and the 2nd cap came and the head hole was sewn smaller. To put the cap on I had to squeeze my head in it which after 2 uses popped the plastic from the elastic. So now I'm out of a cap and believing inconsistency may be an issue with the caps. I'm not sure I will buy a third. Knocking off a star.

This is finally a proper super jumbo shower cap size. It holds my hair 32.5 inches long (past my waist) and super thick and heavy. I now have no problem not getting my hair wet. My hair is completely dry and this was a great buy.

I have long, thick, curly hair and when I shower but don't want to wash my hair, I put it in a bun and it never fits under a regular shower cap. This one fits perfectly with some extra space. None of my hair gets wet and it doesn't leave indents around my hairline like others do. I would definitely recommend this shower cap for anyone having issues fitting their hair into a regular sized shower cap.

The shower cap is sturdy and extra large, fits my dreads. The issue I have is that there is a peak all around it that points into your face that is hard to work around when you’re washing your face.
