My daughter loves this set. She's trying to be more independent by using her nail abilities and doing other girls nails. This is a great way for her to start that.

The media could not be loaded. This is my second one. I purchased my first one at least 10 years ago and it still works wonderfully. It’s not an industrial file, so won’t do the job if you’re a professional, but for home use and for this amazing price, it works wonderfully well. You can use it on natural nails as well as to file down acrylics, gel, and I even use them on polygel extensions. Yes, it WILL stop if you press too hard, but that’s where a little bit of experience comes in handy; use light, shorter, quicker movements rather than slow, hard presses.I know my video isn’t great, but I just wanted to demonstrate how to use it in regards to movement (quick sweeps back & forth).You CAN invest in something better and more expensive. But for very basic needs, you seriously can’t eat this price and this quality.Another plus for me is that it uses standard batteries, so it’s wireless, I don’t have to recharge it, I don’t have to worry about carrying a cord with me when I travel, and I don’t have to worry about whether or not I’ll have access to a USB.

It's strong for a battery operated file. The nibs are great, and are easy to replace. They set in well without coming off. It does get annoying having to keep the button pressed down for it to stay on to use it, which canngg-<. It doesn't just switch on/off. It isn't very soft for your nails. I use it as an engraver. It doesn't spin well enough to not stop with a bit of pressure, so you have to be fairly light with the pressure. Comes with drawstring carry case. The battery last a long time even when using continuously.

Great price and easy to use. However, the heads are not very rough/powerful. The only one I use is the metal cone head. The rest don’t really do much... even with the metal one, it takes 2x time to file down the top layer of my polygel than my other nail filer.

Wish that I could’ve given less than one star! I was so anxious/excited to get it & when it arrived, I opened the package, put the batteries in and NOTHING! Then I switched the batteries around & It still didn’t work. There were no instructions on how to insert the batteries so who knows?! I was soooo disappointed!! The directions are a joke.. they’re basically just pics to show you the different drill heads/attachment functions & each is a blob of ink instead of a clear pic and the paper is FADED, so try reading that was a mess! It gives a description and explains BUT you still do not know because the item pic isn’t visible! The packaging was fairly poor. It does NOT come with batteries but I had some at home anyway. BUT I gave a star because I received my item in a little over 24hrs so I loved the delivery time. Maybe you will have a better experience than me. If you want it just for the heck of it, then at this price point, take a chance/risk BUT if you seriously need it, don’t waste your time. Unfortunately I returned it the very next day (only bc the UPS store was closed that day)! I really wanted it to work.

I bought this yesterday and it arrived today. I needed something small enough to get between my dogs toenails and their pads found this and the heads provided will help me smooth out my dogs nails. Both of their outside nails curl into their pads and it makes it very hard to cut them properly. If you can imagine a small elbow macaroni curl that's their toenails. So now my hope is to have an easier way to file down these hard to trim nails down. Great price too!!!!Thanks y'all!!!Kris

I was looking for something to just smooth out my nails with and file down my boyfriends toenails. It was nice and small with good packaging. Pulled it out and didn’t know it needed batteries (probably missed it somewhere when buying) no biggie but then I went to use one of the heads and the second it touched my nail it stopped spinning. I tried little to no pressure when pushing down (on every single head) and it was just to powerless to have any impact on filing a nail. It literally would not spin if the slightest pressure touched it. It reminded me of those little foam you fans kids have and u touch it and it stops, but I’m sure I use to put way more pressure on those fans to stop them than I did with this drill. I was expecting something stronger obviously not exactly like the ones in a nail salon but this thing did nothing to my nails not even a scratch. I returned as soon as a could. Waste of money for me unfortunately.

I bought this many moons ago, and to this day, it's still holding up like it did when I first purchased. It's easy to use and clean, and it definitely helps me keep up with my nails.
