I use these as a short path from DAC to Headphone Amplifier. Works great. If you are balanced and fully differential, get these and save some dollars. I don't believe in voicing cables. These do very well. Recommended.

Great quality cable with great sound results

I have used 2ft XLR cables from this vendor previously. They work fine. No discernible issues. I like them. This review is for the *1 ft* XLR cables. The main issue with these is that they are simply too short - cable itself is 7.5"; the overall length, including connectors, is 13". I asked Rufus whether the 1 ft length included connectors or whether that length referred to the cable itself. Rufus answered incorrectly: it told me that the 1 ft length referred to the cable itself. And indeed, the website appears (also incorrectly) to corroborate Rufus's assertion: "Please note that xlr cables mic cord length is measured from XLR connector to XLR connector, length option: 1ft, 2ft, 3ft, 6ft, 10ft, 15ft, 25ft" --- OK, those of us who use short cables are aware of this type of problem, as it its common. Which is why we have to ask up front: just how long is the cable itself? We choose a short length for a reason: we don't want unnecessary, extra length, but we also don't want exceedingly short length, either - like these "1 ft" cables. Especially when it comes to cables of 1 ft or shorter, *every inch counts.* Size matters! => A cable length of 7.5" is vastly different than a cable length of 12". 1 ft interconnects are not uncommon with rack mount equipment, but 7.5" is typically problematic. So these cables are likely going to be too short for actual use. So size matters, and telling the truth to customers also matters. This is the hosting corporation's problem, not the vendor's. And as mentioned, I actually like these XLR cables in the 2 ft length. I just don't like having to return cables that are marketed as something other than what they are. It costs me time and money, and it shouldn't be necessary. Amazon support knows about this problem because I have had to bring it up on other occasions, previously. Free returns are of course appreciated, but less so when they are not "free" and are the result of the corporation's issue, not a particular vendor's.

These are well constructed and provide a solid contact feel. I use them internally in road racks and on subs for patching. They are not excessively heavy so there is no concern with them creeping out of their connected ports on road cases. I keep purchasing from this vendor because the quality is good.
