ClairolNice'n Easy No Ammonia Hair Dye, 81 Mahogany

I must admit, I was mortified when I first saw how orange/ginger/red this looked on my hair, which was originally probably a mousy brown/dark blonde with a lot of grey coming through. In fact I had to wash my hair several times to wash out some of the color when i put this on. But then when I got used to it, I really loved it. It is a lovely deep rich mahogany and really conditions your hair and my lovely curls sprang back to life without the dry frizz I had been putting up with. I felt like the color brightened me up and complimented my skin tone. I am ready to put this on next time and not try and wash out the color as it is very striking. Don't feel bad if you hate this color as it is only semi permanent, so does fade with every wash. Give yourself a boost and try this.

been using these for years now .. non bleach so last 6/8 week .. the mrs uses a bath cap off amazon so doesnt go everywhere while drying and looks natural mahogony on grey hair .. she didnt want her face in pic

Too bright for me, will not use the colour again, no amonia was good as i react to hair dye just didn't like the colour

Searched high and low for this specific colour during the lockdown, but it was sold out everywhere online. Luckily, I found it on here and it’s the real deal.I’ve used Mahogany before and it does have the potential to come out a bit orange (my friend described me as the ‘Lorax’ on the initial dye) but after two or three washes it goes to move of a gentle red, which is exactly the colour I was looking for.Easy application and perfect for a Demi-permanent.

I love this product. I don't like to use permanent colour as its bad for your hair. This product does last 28 shampoos and it contains no ammonia, therefore doesn't damage your hair. I love the colour and lots of people always ask what I use. Good value seeing as its free p and p.

My hair feels stronger and softer after this colour, the conditioner is excellent. I'll definitely buy again!

This dye turned my hair orange and going by the colour chart it should have been a mid brown as my hair is dark brown

Bought 3 as I could not get out to buy them. Good quality as always.
