Indian Bedspread Cotton Sunflower Print

Really glad that I bought this. It is a little smaller than I had expected but not so much so that it was a deal breaker. It looks great on our bed and covers the sheets and pillows against dust. It's also an ideal weight for these moderately cool spring nights here in Texas. The laundering instructions that came with this said that the first time it is washed, it should be washed by itself in cold water. Pay attention to that! The first time I washed it in cold water, a lot of the ink or dye or whatever was leached out into the water. It didn't muddy the colors of the bedspread but if I had washed it with something else, the something else could have been ruined. The second time I washed it, I used warm water and washed it with a set of sheets that are pretty old and worn. I'm happy to see that there was no transfer of color from the bedspread to the sheets. So, the first washing seems to have taken care of that issue.

I like it. The fabric is a little nicer than I expected. The size is right of a single bed, although it only drops down about a ft on each side. The color is close. I expected it to go better with my burnt orange walls...It is more yellow than I expected, with red flower centers. The gold is accurate.

I ordered this not for a bedspread, but rather to use as a tablecloth for an Indian food dinner I was hosting. It really looked nice on the table, and washed up nicely after a guest spilled red wine on it. It was a good value for the price and the colors were very vivid. I did rinse it and line drying because it did have a bit of slight odor from the packaging but it went away with the wash.

Colors are vibrant, the item sent was the wrong size and the package was marked Bedspread, but the contents were a tab-style curtain. Weight of fabric was lightweight, would not provide warmth, but when I get sent a curtain panel instead of a bedspread, what do I expect? Haha. Now I have to take time out of my day to return something that was totally the wrong item.

The colors are amazing. This is so pretty but it’s more like a linen cloth. It did not fit a bed. However, I put a daybed in my new house and it goes over it perfectly. For the price this is just beautiful material just to have around.
