If you’re looking for a powerful tool that’s a good value for the price, this is it. This tool is a workhorse. It's solid and has some weight to it, but not too heavy. It's good for grinding and sanding. It has a lot of power and will get the job done, but be careful when you’re using it, because it can be dangerous.

Bought this for my nephew for him to use in his woodworking projects. He says it's easy to use and so far no problems.

I really like the tool. The biggest knock it gets, and the biggest reason for returns is the quick change collet. I agree it is no good. So, you take it off and put on a standard collet and nut like dremel and all the other rotary tools have. If you are replacing an old broken harbor freight cheapo (like me), then just use the collet off your old one. Otherwise you can buy one. That's what I planned to do before I ordered, and I did it, and now it's perfect. As far as this particular vendor, things are a bit shady. First you have to wonder how someone who is not Home Depot is selling "new" Ryobi tools (at a discount). In my case, the tool seems almost new, but had a used sanding bit attached and was stuck lol. Obviously a return for the dreaded collet problem. And like others have described, it was very stuck. I took the whole quick change collet off with the piece still in it. I was going to use my old collet but found the accessory box had a new standard collet and nut! So, they knew the tool had a problem and sent me the solution? Anyway, the tool works great. It is quiet and powerful and smooth. I read one review that said too much vibration, but mine has almost zero vibration. And it comes with a nice case even though the picture doesn't show it, and there is even a question in the question section where the vendor says there is no case. I am happy. I know some people would open the box and see the used bit, and then realize it was stuck, and say this is BS! Its going back! But I already had the plan to change the collet, and I got it at a discount, so for me I am fine to do a little fiddling with my "new" tool.
