I bought this in silver with multicolor "ornaments". It is thicker gauge wire than some of the others so you could put ornaments on it if you wanted to without it sagging. There aren't gaps between rounds, either, so you cannot see the post. I do prefer to wrap my lights around the post instead of the outside so that I don't have the light wire showing. The lights glow right through and it looks nice.

Easy to assemble tree. It comes in basically three pieces and snaps up in less than a minute. I'm going to try to light mine from the inside with an LED light because I don't think the spiral branches can support any weight and it should be so pretty.

Originally purchased this for another spot in my house, but I ended up placing it next to my regular tree. I did wrap lights around the middle pole to give it a some light. It is cute though even without the lights. It was so easy to set up and seems sturdy. Love it!
