I’ve tried about a dozen to 20 pomade so far, this one is in the average category. It has a reasonably good hold, is smooth enough and easy to spread in your hair. I would say overall the hold of the product is as expected. Other reviewer’s raved about the scent, which I found to be rather generic and not all that strong. The product itself for the price is a reasonable value, however there are much better brands out there that you might want to consider.

This is way better than the matte I used to use. It has a pleasant smell, and it won't feel too uncomfortable after it gets dry.

As a pomade this thing works well. Low residue, washes out easily. However, two things:1) The container is made with the flimsiest metal possible, and they ship it in an envelope. Mine came dented and leaking and the company offered me $3 back in compensation (which I don't think I even received)2) The smell is overwhelming and TERRIBLE. Had to toss it because of this.
