Splish! Splash!: A Book about Rain (Amazing Science: Weather)

To call this a paperback is a stretch and for $8.95, I expected it to be more substantial. I teach STEM to 2nd - 5th grade and will be using this as a resource for one of our lessons (will be reading it 32 times within 2 weeks). The 'story' itself and illustrations - well...there are better choices out there. Also - the book arrived damaged....the box it came in was perfect - just the book's edges were crumpled/ smashed therefore I believe it was shipped in this condition.

I got this book for a 3 year old through a local literacy program. The child had drawn a picture about playing in puddles with his brother and sister. This is a cute book to explain to young children why/how it rains.

That you great for my children at school

Excellent Book !! The illustration are simple and don't take away from the complexity of the text. The author puts a difficult concept into an easy read. I used this book in a unit for rain with kindergartners they reacted really well to it and they asked many questions. I would recommend this book to anyone.
