LIGHTAILING Light Set for (Creator Expert Volkswagen) Building Blocks Model - Led Light kit Compatible with Lego 10252(NOT Included The Model)

It wasn’t easy to add because we had already built the cityscape. The directions aren’t super clear but the pictures were somewhat helpful.Once it was built, though, it is AMAZING! We love it! The lights change color, it’s really cool!!

These lights were better than I expected. Some of the parts appear to be genuine LEGO (modified with holes or what not), while others are more custom. The instructions for instillation are very well done with ~100 images and some text to further clarity. The LEDs do have current limiting resistors, so LED life is expected to be better, though not every LED has it's own resistor. I don't know the quality of the LEDs themselves, so time will tell here. Over all, these appear to be very good, with excellent documentation.

Dislike that one needs to disassemble parts to put the light blocks in place. It would be so much easier to have a better idea where they go as you build the set. Ot would also. E nice if it was a usb rechargeable product rather then batteryBut all said and done, it looks great! It adds something to the final product that certainly makes it special!

after about a year they're still shining bright. I rarely turn them on and use the truck but when I do it adds that little extra bit of satisfaction when looking at your build. I also like how with this set specifically the battery pack can be subtly mounted and carried along. with the ford gt set or r34 skyline set I didn't expect them to have a mounting place not a fault of the product but after installing on those sets u have a dangling battery pack. this set for the zertros fits perfectly imoexcuse the lense flare-my phone camera was cracked when I took these images. for the light at the top on the snorkel part- it doesnt fit flush and falls off easily so I have to re set it every time I go to use the truck. other than that its perfect. and u don't have to follow the wiring diagram perfectly there's just enough room to run it how you'd like but the diagram is a great start.- its better to install these after you built your set btw- you will have to disassemble but it comes with pretty clear instruct ruction on how to do so- this set was easier than the ford gt set but that's a result of legos designs once again.

The media could not be loaded.  Love the lights! They do a magnificent job of highlighting the fun details of this set. And they provide some very realistic lighting touches in the lamps and lanterns.The wires are hidden throughout the set for a clean look which is also great.Note: the wires are very delicate so be gentle. You need 3 AA batteries and a whole lot of patience. You will have to dismantle pieces of the set so ...MOST IMPORTANT- watch the video on you tube! It was sooooooo much easier than the booklet. I would be nuts right about now trying to follow the booklet. You can pause and rewatch and they make the whole process fun. Looking forward to other sets and the lighttails that can be purchased with!The only Negatives- 1. The booklet instructions. Confusing! 2. I wish you could get this and build it with the set so you don't have to risk messing up when you dismantle portions.... and 3. no where to store/mount the battery pack so it's out of the way(but it does have lego walls just in case you are more creative than me)

The media could not be loaded.  Awesome product! Purchased way back 11/2021 and just got around to installing but when I went to test my lights did not work. Emailed support and they were supper fast in getting a replacement kit within a week and it was hassle free as well. Would highly recommend the kit as it was real easy to install takes maybe an hour. Futures kits I would suggest a smaller battery pack, clean up the wire bundle at the end, and maybe have a sound option. You have made a father and his 4 year old son very happy.

Waste of money. Ridiculously tangles mess, not worth time or money

There is a strong chemical/plastic smell of the product. Gave me a headache, returned without even attempting to install. This is way overpriced for the amount of material you get.

This really added to the sets, I’ve bought a couple from this company and they’ve worked out well. It really lights up the sets beautifully. Highly recommend to add to your collection!
