Will this prevent my chair from rolling all over?

Yes! My floor is slightly slanted and this is the only mat I've found that keeps my chair from rolling when I sit down. Works great!

How is the clean? Does this rug shed?

It’s been shedding badly for me and in conjunction with pet hair it’s horrible.

Will an office chairs on wheels leave indentations on this rug?

No indentations are left on the rug. It protects the floor. (There is a mildly sticky backing that keeps it in place.) I highly recommend this purchase.

Will it work on redwood boards?

I use it on vinyl plank and it works great. The plastic one I had on here before “sweated” underneath. This does not. I’m happy with it.
