Does it have to be plugged in to swirl? Or can the base be charged and moved without being plugged in to work?

The base has a rechargeable battery inside and is designed to last up to 7 hours after being fully charged. We recommend keeping it consistently charged to preserve battery life. That being said, it’s definitely fun and recommended to use the Swirl as a centerpiece on the dinner table and enjoy all the compliments.

Where to put the gold decal that comes with this?

The sticker that comes with the Swirl is a gift to use as you wish. We suggest that you place it somewhere that you can see the beauty and it helps remind you to drink more water.

Is one to leave the vase on the base all the time? Or spin for 5 min & remove to counter?

You can move it off the base when you’re done aerating. Really up yo personal preference

Nothing but the pitcher touches the water. I don’t know the materials the impeller plate is made from
