Does this keep opening inside backpack? Ours has spilled a few times, wanted to know if that's how they are made or is this one just defective? Thanks

We have not. Our keep in the lunch package or box. We also clip to the outside or bottle pocket depending upon which backpack they decide to use. So we don't put in the backpack itself. But it sounds like something is hitting the push button just right to open and spill. Try keeping it on a clip on the outside. Or something to that effect. Other than it would make sure it stays stable with nothing moving around it that could possibly catch and push the button. Wish I could be more help. Good luck!
