Rex Specs Dog Goggles - Eye Protection for The Active Dog

I have a 15 pound Boston Terrier, NO SNOUT. The X-small ended up being too tight around the head but too big over his face. I returned the x-small (no hassle in the return) and got the small-wide, PERFECT fit! The first 2 pictures are the SMALL-WIDE, the last picture is the X-SMALL to show the difference in sizes

Awesome product. Bought a pair of cheap “dog goggles” on here and it was a waste of money. These are the real deal. Took about 10 minutes of training my 1 year old (100lb) Newfoundland without any lens installed before she became comfortable with them. After that I installed the tinted lens and she has no problems wearing them. Watch the user video on YouTube from rexspecs on how to adjust the straps. These are very well made and deliver exactly what the website says they will.

These fit RIDICULOUSLY WELL on my little Shihtzu mix. I did not expect them to be this perfect at all. He doesn’t love wearing them, but he doesn’t try that hard to get them off either. I expect he will get used to them the more he wears them.

My German Shepherd has pannus, which will blind him without meds and UVB protection. I have tested five brands of dog sunglasses. Rex Specs are by far the best for field of vision, comfort, ventilation, and staying on the dog. They test at 100% UV protection, even the clear lenses, which are great for dogs with impaired vision who need as much light as possible. The only downside is that they are bulkier than others I tried with soft elastic bands and not quite as easy to put on. But my dog can't push them up or take them off, as he can the others. I've actually had him push the others up and be running ahead of me on our acreage without my knowledge that his eyes are exposed to harmful UV rays. Not so with the Rex Specs! They stay put until I take them off. For a quick rest stop visit while traveling, or a few minutes of head-out-the-window, etc. I use the smaller, cuter, and easier to put on Doggles Sidecar. But for playing fetch, training, hiking, or daily longs walks, the Rex Specs are the best!

This is the second pair of eye wear I have gotten for him. I'm hoping the last. When I came across rexspecs I was sceptical. it was mainly too with not being them not being prime. How ever I cannot argue, with how early they came in. I ordered them on 6/24/20 after a week of rigorous review watching and reading. they arrived 6/29/20 when the arrival date was 7/8/20. So I was pleasantly surprised on the steadfast shipping. I just prefer shipping to an Amazon box. how ever. My bff albus enjoys them from what I can see I had not tighten them all the way yet but he was comfortable. Mainly due to they where not on his eye lids. Other doggles I found are not big enough for him( hes an American mastiff bull) even at there largest size. These sit perfectly on his mussle. I like the fact that rexspec has training videos on how to get your fur baby use to their doggles. Even though I didn't need them it still provided the confidence I needed to purchase them for him. Normally I would never consider doggles for my pets. How ever I did due the nature of my little boys mastiff traits. Since he had to have an eye lid correction surgery I wary and protective of his eyes. Rexspec provided me with the confidence and knowledge that I no longer need to worry especially when he has his head out the window at 60 to 70 mph on our road trips. Since my buddy has a decent following on Instagram. I will be doing a full review there in a week or so with an added link to rexspecs website and Amazon account. I have a 5kg smaller dog, he rides in my backpack on bike rides. I bought these because he had an eye infection from getting debris in his eye during one of our rides. These goggles fit him perfectly and after a little training he'll wear them without trying to rip them off.

I’m giving these 5 stars, because they are fantastic, but I’m a little afraid that my boy is going to outgrow his extra large ones before I know it. He’s only 3 1/2, and his breed continues maturing and filling out until they’re 5, sometimes 6. I’m still working on the fit of course, so part of it may be me fitting them to him correctly now, we’ll see. Either way these specs are awesome! I had a little bit of trouble changing the clear lens out for the grey lens, but that’s mostly because I didn’t want to break the specs, not because it was really hard.
