Zippo Butane Lighter Insert - Yellow Flame

用途は葉巻とパイプへの着火である。 良い点 ・着火性、火の安定性が非常に良い。 ・火は小さくなるものの、1月の寒い屋外でも十分使用に耐える。 ・本体の蓋の開閉に何ら影響を及ぼさない。音もしっかり鳴る。 気になる点 ・ジャックダニエルの黒マット塗装のケースを使用しているが、若干緩く、使用に影響する程ではないが、使用しているうちに浮き上がってしまう。真鍮無地のアーマーZIPPOや、別のノーマルZIPPOに入れてみるとぴったりだったので、ケース側の個体差の問題だと思われる。本品側面にマスキングテープを貼って調整すれば解決した。 ・ガスライターによくある火力調節機能がない。屋内では4～5cmの火が出るため、個人的には火力過剰である。とはいえ、この大きい火力設定のおかげで冬の屋外でも使用できることを考えれば、妥協はできると思う。 悪い点 ・ガスを出すボタンが小さい上に傾斜がついているので、たまに滑ってボタンを押し損ねる。せっかくの着火性の良さが生かされない。 総じて、いくつかの欠点はあるものの、以前使用していたZIPPO用他社製（ガスタンク部が透明でダブルフレームターボ式の）インサイドユニットとは使用感が雲泥の差である。 減少し続けるソフトフレーム式のガスライターをお探しの諸兄姉には、強くおすすめの商品である。

とても魅力的な商品だが、少し火力が強すぎる…… しかしながら、ブルーになるバーナータイプは、航空機持ち込みできなかったりするので助かります。 そもそもバーナータイプがすぐぶち壊れてしまうのでこの商品の耐久値もしばらく様子見ですねぇ…

着火も良いし 良いのだけど・・・火力調整が無いの?

I stopped carrying my Zippo, as I only use it for occasional use, camp fires, and the like, and it was always empty. Now, with butane, I carry the lighter all the time, it's always ready to go. Not quite as wind-proof as a stock Zippo, and you have to hold the button down to keep it lit, but no more empty lighter or leaking lighter fluid. It's not made domestically, but it is stamped Zippo and fits the Zippo case without any issues.

Works well but buy a new flint

Llegó un día antes de la fecha. El producto me ha funcionado muy bien hasta el día de hoy. Eso sí, la flama es algo alta por tanto cuando lo enciendan por primera vez no pongan la cara muy cerca.

Like most cigar smokers, I suppose, I use a torch lighter most of the time out of sheer convenience and wind-resistance (and where I live, in South Texas, wind is an almost ever-present feature). However, it’s very easy to scorch a cigar with such a hot flame, imparting a change to the taste. For that reason, I find a soft flame lighter to be preferable. Problem is, standard lighter fluid can also impart a bad taste. This little insert is the best of both worlds. It lights a cigar evenly and quickly, without charring, and with no taste of lighter fluid. I like the heft of a metal Zippo and it just feels and looks classy. However, like any soft flame, it’s useless in even a slight breeze. Because of that, I’ll light up indoors and then head out to the porch (since smoking is verboten in the house, per domestic management) or just bring it out on a calm day. I’ve only been using it for a few weeks,, so tough to assess long-term reliability, but I use good butane so I’m hopeful it’ll hold up. I’ll revise my rating accordingly if necessary. So far, it’s great. Update 4/26/25: Still works great. A top-off with butane lasts a good while, and my example doesn’t have a crazy-tall flame like some reviewers report. Bonus: unlike torch lighters, you can take this through TSA checkpoints at the airport the same as a standard Zippo. I’m very happy with it.
