Probably the best canned chili.
I have been eating Wolf Brand Chili since I was a child in Texas. You can make better chili using mixes and the best beef and improvising on seasonings. Carroll Shelby's is a very good mix. But to just open a can and have a bowl of chili, you can't do much better than this. I like to spice it up with salsa. I often will fry an egg over easy and add that to the bowl. I used to enhance it with a cut up pork chop. That makes a very hearty bowl of chili. If you are craving Texas chili with no beans in a hurry, this is a very good option.

Best No-Bean Chili there is!!
I grew up in the south, where beans were a filler for chili, so you did not add beans unless you needed to fill the pot with something to expand the size of the chili. Somewhere along the line years ago, I stumbled on Wolf Brand Chili, and I've stuck with it all these years. It is hard to find no-bean chili in the Pacific Northwest, so I usually have to order it and have it shipped to me. Worth every dime!!!!

Good flavor but no pull tab
I like this chili. It has good flavor and works well using crackers as a scoop. Note there are no beans so it can have a mushy feel. A good choice for chili dogs. My main complaint is that the cans have no pull tab so you need a can opener.

The Taste of Texas
I grew up having Wolf Brand Chili as a treat whenever we could afford it. It was pricier in the old days than some other brands and we couldn't have it every time we thought we should. Since we're from Texas, we made our our own chili (known in the family as greasy Texas chili).but we still enjoyed getting to have Wolf Brand. It is a reminder of special treats and special times. I love it and was so glad to find it available for shipping here.

Everything was ok but cans were dented.

Perfect for it's niche
When I specifically eat canned chili, I eat Nalleys, but forget that when I eat hot dogs, chili burgers or anything where Chili is the condiment which is actually more often, Wolf Brand is the only game in town. It really is perfect. If I added beans, I'd probably eat it as "just chili" too. Very good stuff. We always keep it in the house.

all cans dented !!
Cans came all dented up! I am always a bit worried about dented cans because you don't really know if the seal has been broken. So far, so good, but you always take a chance with dented cans!, and these had multiple, some big, dents.
