Great quality for low cost
I am amazed at the sound quality of these hearing aids. I am very happy with my purchase. I was able to hear more easily the people in my life who I think talk quietly. I don’t have to ask them to repeat as often. I can have the car radio volume lower and hear it well. The sound quality is good, not tinny. They are easy to insert and remove and so far they stay put. The battery life seems plenty long for my use. The volume and frequency can be adjusted. They come with various sizes of plastic ear domes. Their charging case and maintenance are convenient and not complicated. Audien has proactive customer service. A few days after delivery, Carlo from Audien called to find out how my experience has been using Atom One. I think if I had issues, Audien would give me a credit toward more expensive and newer versions but for now I am happy with what I have. I had the usual good purchase experience and delivery with Amazon. The listing had a $10 Amazon coupon. The Atom One is a worthwhile expense for me to see if hearing aids would be comfortable for me and would make a difference. A few days after delivery, there was a 20% Amazon discount and the only way Amazon would have given me the price adjustment was if I returned the aids I received and ordered new ones using the better discount. That seemed short-sighted given that: the items had been in my ears; I wanted to keep them; and Amazon would have to pay for return shipping. But that is Amazon’s policy. I didn’t return and reorder. I have mild hearing loss due to age/damage, not fluid buildup, and for me the Atom One hearing aids are a great quality and low-cost option.

Amazingly effective hearing aids
I've been using these for two months and am amazed by the effectiveness of these inexpensive devices. I was unwilling to spend thousands of dollars and ordered a set of these as a test, which has been a very successful experiment improving my high-frequency hearing limitation. I usually use only one at a time, and it improves my hearing dramatically. Charging is easy and battery life more than all day. Using one in each ear gives a better balance of sound, but it isn't necessary for most situations. At the moment, I see no reason to pay more for any other kind of hearing aid.

So many good features.
My hearing loss is severe and I have not been happy with prescription hearing aids. Ther are so many things II love about these hearing aids. They are easy to use, recharging is easy and there's no batteries to worry about, the case is perfect for storing them and when you put the hearing aids in it here is only one way it will fit to charge so you know if its charging properly, charging is quick and the aids hold the charge well. There is no on/off button so that is convenient. The volume button is small but I found that if you take the pointy side of one of the tools you can adjust it just fine. They give you an assortment of filters to use depending on the size that should fit most ears. The problem I had is that since these fit inside your ear, fit and size are paramount. Needless to say, if the fit is not perfect and you turn your head or something it will fall out. And knowing this, I was super careful and still I lost one. I hope the company will make these in over the ear style because the sound was very good for the price and quality. The company has excellent customer service and follow-through to ensure an issue is resolved. I've also learned that they do make over-the-ear hearing aids, so that will be another one purchased in the near future.

Good starter device, but sound clarity could be better
I purchased this device for my father, and overall he is satisfied with it. It is easy to use, comfortable to wear, and it has clearly improved his ability to hear compared to before. That said, the sound quality seems somewhat limited. While voices are audible, they are not always as clear or natural as we had hoped, especially in more challenging listening environments. My father still feels that he does not hear at 100%, which suggests this may be more of an entry-level device rather than a premium solution. For someone looking for an affordable, straightforward hearing aid, this is a solid option and a good starting point. However, users with higher expectations for sound clarity or performance in noise may eventually want to consider a higher-tier model or additional fine-tuning. Overall, a positive experience with room for improvement in sound quality.

It also works for those with more hearing loss...
After many hours of searching and wanting to not break the bank, I chose these. My hearing loss is a bit more than most, with one ear having overall moderate-to-severe hearing loss, and the other having only a few frequencies in that moderate-to-severe loss. With that background, I know that my need is more than can be met by this device. But choosing this Audien Atom One was the best choice for me. I figured that out because I also purchased the Atom X at the same time. I thought that the Atom X, since it had more features, might provide me with better hearing. For me, it wasn't the best option. I found that the Atom One can be adjusted to a suitable volume with the dial directly on each hearing aid. It seemed to me that I was able to turn it up louder on the Atom One. One other important thing about these devices: I had previously had a hearing device that was more of an amplifier. With this type, everything is louder, including the ambient noise (rooms with tile floors are the worst!). The Atom One is better than the amplifier style of hearing device since it apparently does noise cancellation with the ambient noise. It's a little hard for me to discern the noise cancellation since my hearing need exceeds the usual use of this device. Even so, I get a sufficient amount of help from this hearing aid. However, I'm not a fan of the rechargeable aspect of this device. I would much rather have a battery that lasts a few days, and after replacing the battery (3 minutes later), I have full use of the device. With a rechargeable device, I have to wait at least an hour or more to get full use of the device again. So, I have to charge it every night to make sure I get the full day's use. I suspect I have to charge it daily since I have it turned up quite loud. Right out of the box, the Atom One was very easy to use. One more observation: the use of the frequency dial seems to be an adjustment on the sound you actually hear. I had hoped I could increase the dial to hear better in the frequencies that I'm most deficient in. Wishful thinking. But now that I understand the device better, of course it's adjusting the sound you hear. Overall, I think it's a great product for those with the hearing loss this is designed for since I'm getting a good amount of use from it, and I'm really stretching the limits. Who wants to pay thousands of dollars for a hearing aid?

Great hearing aids at a fraction of the cost.
I have been paying $800 each for my hearing aids in past years and these hearing aids are excellent as I can be able to adjust frequency and volume on each side. My hearing is better in left ear than right and I can hear better than I did with the previous hearing aids that I have had.

Good while it last. 6 MONTHS
So when I 1st ordered I was so excited because after 40 yrs of dealing with a hearing loss I realized it had gotten to its worse . I needed something and fast to help me with my everyday hearing . Seeing this product online I decided I got nothing to loose. Well initially it was something to get used to, the fact of never wearing anything inside my ear canales to everyday wear was a bit uncomfortable at 1st until I found a relaxing fit in sizes they provided. I use one at a time because only one of my ears have more severe loss then the other. Well from the day of purchase Nov.2025 to today May2026 one of my hearing aids completely died . It sits in the box to charge but never runs on once placed in my ear. I feel the charge in my other hearing aids doesn't last anymore and scared it may soon give out. I really did enjoy these while they lasted but that is not very long. I hope this company can compensate in some way because I do need the assistance of hearing aids. So for the short lasting time frame of these hearing aids I give it 2 stars

Quality in-the-ear hearing amplifiers with some charging limitations
First impressions: The Atom One is the lowest priced of the Audien hearing aids/amplifiers and seems worthy of the name. The in-the-ear devices are small and inconspicuous, and with the furnished multiple earbuds should fit most customers well and eliminate feedback. The sound quality is good for a device at this price point, and the devices can be adjusted both for volume level and pitch. The devices automatically turn on and off when removed from or replaced in the case. There are no adjustment buttons, only small screws. They are a bit awkward, but can be rotated with a tiny plastic screwdriver attached to the wax brush. (Look carefully in the accessories box or you will miss it.) Adjustment is easier with one of those longer metal screwdrivers in a kit designed to replace screws in eyeglasses. Once most people have set the desired levels, further changes should not be needed often. Unlike button volume adjustment on other Audien hearing devices, the tiny screws need a flat surface to rest the case with good light for adjustments. Perhaps an assistant could help with in-ear adjustments; otherwise it would be very difficult or impossible. The case seems secure, with colored indicator lights to show charging levels. The biggest drawback (and difference compared to many competitors and other Audien models) is the lack in the case of a charging battery, presumably to save money. This means that the devices can ONLY be recharged when the case is plugged in to a (included) wall charger. The devices have sufficient internal battery power for a full day's use, which is fortunate since when they run down you will need an ac outlet for recharging. They might last for two 12 hour days without charging; I haven't tried. If you are used to charging your smartphone and Apple Watch every evening, adding the Atom One shouldn't be much of a convenience. Otherwise, it is more of ann inconvenience. In my view it would have been more desirable to omit the included ac charger and instead include a battery built into the case. The devices must be placed properly in the case, as the manual warns, or they will whistle faintly when in the case. The instruction manual is well-written and Audien has a reputation for very good customer service. No app is necessary for operation.
