Cottonique Hypoallergenic Sleep Eye Mask Made from 100% Organic Cotton (Melange Grey, Free Size)

This eye mask is a great find. I live in an apartment building in a semi-urban area and even with blinds down, the street lights, car lights and security lights are too strong to block out. I was using a head band over my eyes which fit well but it is a synthetic material and I end up taking it off because it is too hot. So this cotton mask is perfect (I purchased the melange) - have used it only a couple of nights so far, but it definitely is helping me get a better night's sleep. Very comfortable. Now I just have to work out a satisfactory way to block out the traffic and street noise!Update 10/19/2016: My review still stands with one caveat. The cotton band in the back stretches out after prolonged use and there is not enough Velcro on the attaching strip to keep it tight at this point. I have bought some Velcro to see if I can fix the problem, but my recommendation is that both Velcro strips should be equal in size.

I use this mask every night. I love not having to worry about chemicals, because it is organic cotton. It is very soft, but it is also sturdy and high quality. I bought two, so I wouldn’t have to worry if I lost one.

I mostly sleep on my back and find this mask comfortable, soft and easy to wear. It thoroughly blocks light and can be washed and dried with the rest of the laundry which is super convenient

First, I really love that it's a non toxic product! It's also well made, seems very durable yet soft. However, I got the gray one because the reviews for the white one said it didn't block out light. I sleep with sound, but have to have a blacked out room to sleep. Even though there is an extra bit of fabric cushioning that sits on the bridge of your nose, (therefore it should block out all light)...it still let's in enough light to bother me and the gray one isn't dark (or maybe thick?) enough to block all light either. I'd guess it only blocks about 80% of light. Also, even though it fits me perfectly, it still feels like it's squeezing my eyes. I even tried wearing it loose, just tight enough to stay on. But when I wake up my eyes are very dry because the cotton was pressed firmly against them all night. I wanted this to work for me so much because there's a surprisingly short list of organic sleep wear out there for a decent price, but sadly I'll be sending this back. It could be better if it came in black (with organic dyes) and if the nose bridge cushioning was thick enough to block all light and get the mask off of the eyes enough so they can breathe.

Cloth is soft, however it is not thick enough to block out ambient light. The strap is way too thick and cumbersome. I wanted to like this, but just not a good design.

This is the softest sleep mask ever. I use it every night with a little Castor oil on eye area and I sleep through any kind of light invasion that tries to enter into my bedroom. Washes up like new, I would so recommend this sleep mask

The material is very soft and no doubt 100% cotton. It is large enough to cover half my face however, the issue I have is the strap. As others have reviewed, the velcor strap is extremely long and thick and I feel it throughout the night so I end of taking it off. Love the material so much though that I am going to try and cut back the strap excess and sew back together. Hope this helps!
