I purchased this mouse after seeing influencer reviews. To my dismay, I found that the mouse did not work on my shiny granite tabletop, my primary intended use for this mouse. I just could not get it to track vertically for several days. It would work on other surfaces. I dug out a spare Microsoft bluetooth mouse and found to my great relief that it worked fine on my shiny granite surface. I'll be returning it.... UPDATE - A representative from the company offered a refund, which I accepted. It did give me a chance to look at the mouse again. I have repurposed it for a desktop on an all-white IKEA desk and it seems to work well. It seems light and responsive, and I'll re-rate if allowed. It seems not to work for the narrow application that I had intended.

Update: I'm an idiot. I put the new battery in upside down after it stopped working. While trying to break it open and maybe try to fix it I noticed my error. Once the battery is in correctly it works great. 🤦♀️ Worked great for one year and 17 days. Seventeen days outside of the warranty window it just stopped working. I bought a battery operated one so I'd stop having wireless connection issues like I did with 2 previous rechargeable mice. I thought I'd be able to stop contributing to junk plastic waste every 6 months, but nope. So frustrating.

This is a great mouse works well and compartment storage for the USB fob is great. I however bought two one for me, one for my son who uses his in the front room I use mine in my room not far from him. I had noticed my mouse was moving all over and nowhere I wanted it to, I was frustrated and shortly after my son was yelling the same thing. These mouses can not be in range of each other they cross paths. My sons was making mine move I was moving his. Ha Ha We just exchanged one for different brand.
