I am currently using 1 external display for both Macbook Pro (M1 Pro) and Mac Mini (M2).Even though I can switch all devices such as monitor, hifi system keyboard and mouse by just connecting 1 thunderbolt cable, but it is still a hassle.However, it took me a long time to look for a KVM switch that can support faster than 10gbps as most of the KVM switch in the market only support up to 10gbps.Until one day I came across this CableMatter 20gbps switch, it solved all the problems that I had by manually unplugging and plugging in the thunderbolt cable to different devices and it has been work flawlessly for after a year of usage.

KVM機能内蔵のJAPANNEXTの4Kモニタに USB キーボードとトラックボールを接続し、M2 mac mini と VAIO ノートを切り替えて使っています。mac miniとは8K対応のThunderbolt4ケーブル、VAIOとは4K対応のThunderbolt3ケーブルで接続していますが、どちらも4K(3840x2160 60Hz)で画面表示、またキーボードとトラックボールが使えています。それまで使っていたHDMIとUSBの切り替え機では、時折切り替え後に画面の解像度が変わってしまうことがありましたが、この切り替え機では、今の所そういうことがありません。また、それぞれのPCにケーブル１本で接続できるのは、非常に楽ですし、スッキリします。ただ、USB PD で電力供給もできる事はいいのですが、パススルーにはなっておらず、接続されていない側には電力が供給されません。そのため、VAIOからmac miniに切り替えると、VAIOがバッテリ駆動モードに切り替わります。普段の使用には問題ありませんが、mac miniを使用中に VAIOを充電して持ち出すには、別途充電器を接続する必要があり、この点だけちょっと不便を感じます。

Thunderbolt使用可能です。

MacBookがプライベート用と仕事用と二台あり、IOデータのUSB-C給電つきのモニターで、USBを差し替えて使っていたのですが、抜き差しがちょっと面倒だなということで、この商品に行き着きました。意外と選択肢がないんですよね。でもこれにして正解でした。価格的にはまあ安くはない（本当に使えるか心配な部分もあって）ですが、実際に普通にちゃんと使えて、切り替えリモコンなんかも要らないなぁと思いつつ、あるとやっぱり便利でした。実際の動きとしてもとくに問題はないです。買ってよかったと思います。ただケーブルがけっこうしっかりしてて硬いので、いずれちゃんと機能する代替のものが出てきたらいいなぁと思っています。が不便はないです。

Windowsでは正常動作するがMac M1 Maxでは映像が出力されなかった。Mac→ディスプレイでは正常に出力されているが間にこの商品を入れると出力されなくなる。複数のTypeCやThunderboltケーブルを試したがいずれも出力されなかった。

It works well, but as stated in the manual, it limits the connected displays to either 2x 4k 30hz or one 4k 60hz.Since a mac is limited to one display per thunderbolt connection anyways, this is acceptable, and I really haven't seen a better alternative available anywhere.The only other alternatives for usb c switches max out at 10gbit and doesn't work with thunderbolt (for me)

Thunderbolt 4 と記載されていたのでもしかしたらと期待して購入したものの、Studio Display + Thunderbolt 4 を繋いでも利用できませんでした。LG の 27UP850N-W とは USB type-c で、接続して動いたので、type-c のディスプレイであれば動作すると思います。type-c では動くものの、商品名に記載がある Thunderbolt 4 が動かなかったので点数は低めにつけました。〜修正〜Apple 純正の Thuderbolt 4 ケーブでは動きませんでした。付属のケーブル（USB type-c?）では動きました。付属のケーブルが短いため配置を変える必要があったこと、Thunderbolt 4 + Studio Display というアップル純正の組み合わせでは動かなかったことで星2分減らしましたが、同梱のケーブルで、Stuido Display が動いたことは評価します。
