18'' Russian Netting White, Fabric by the Yard

I purchased this netting to make my own birdcage veil for my informal wedding. This fabric was very easy to work with, and my veil looked absolutely beautiful! It is slightly stiff in texture, but not at all "plastic-y," which allowed the veil to hold a nice shape. If I could find this netting sold by the bolt, I'd probably start a business making custom birdcage veils!

Well, my title says it all. It's a strong material that you can use for a variety of things, not the least of which being wedding veils. It's elegant and pretty. I don't have any complaints at all about it. What I would suggest though, is that if you're using it to make something, and let's face it, you probably are, then use some felt or scrap material to practice (figure out the exact shape and size needed, etc) before you work with the netting. But, that's not at all a complaint about the netting itself. So if you're looking for something that's dynamic looking and durable, this is a great buy.

Quality fabric. I used it for a bridal birdcage head piece. Quantity was enough for at least 2.

super easy to work with, not as delicate as expected but that's a good thing! really quite beautiful, holds up fine against ribbon & rhinestones!

Ordered this product to custom-make my own birdcage veil. It came in a reasonable amount of time (though I'm not in a hurry...yet). The netting is indeed a little stiff/rough and it does need to be finished around a few edges, but will work nicely for what I need.Please note, I began hunting online for this product after failing to find it at a few fabric stores around my area. However, I managed to stumble on it at Joanne Fabrics for slightly cheaper than the given price, which would have made the whole thing cheaper by a few bucks. But compared to the cost of a ready-made veil? I think I still got away with a smashing deal!

These folks are fabulous. I ordered this netting to make a vintage birdcage wedding veil. The fabric arrived within days; however, the wrong fabric was sent. After an email to the company via Amazon, the correction was immediately corrected and the appropriate fabric was received within a few more days. It was suggested that I keep or donate the mistaken fabric, making the mistaken shipment hassel free for me. The russian netting was exactly what I needed for this project and the vintage birdcage veil came out beautifully !
