Just as good as a traditional bench press
Love it, makes benching exercises so much easier, literally can do in chair while working.

SURPRISELY EFFECTIVE
Having a basement full of gym equipment, I figured I'd spend fifty bucks or so for this portable bench press device. I didn't expect much, but have been much impressed with how effective it is. I do vertical and horizontal presses with it, and it gives me resistance from the start of the press to the top. I bought the 150 lb one which comes with 6 bands, and it gives A LOT OF RESISTANCE. In fact I took 2 bands out as I prefer to do high rep sets. I now have the unit that goes to 200 lbs (this review) so this can be used by heavy benchers. It's also great for rows and I use it for another very effective exercise-a single leg leg press, where I put one leg in the strap, hold the handles near my chest and and press out with one leg at a time. VERY EFFECTIVE for the thigh and buttock muscles. This device is great for travel as it is small and compact, and one can do a highly effective bench press, plus other exercises while on the road without dragging along a lot of other equipment. A surprising WINNER.

Threads coming loose already, barely used.
I received this product on Jan 18th, 2021. I have barely used it and it's thread is already starting to come loose.
