Razorba Back Hair Shaver

This inexpensive but well-designed razor holder makes it possible for me to shave my back with any razor of my choice, including the fast, effective wide double bladed razor provided. But I also like the idea that nearly any razor easily slips into the flexible rubber sleeve. My wife has already borrowed this for leg shaving that can now be done with less reaching. This looked like a good idea when I was considering alternatives and that's been proven in practice. I was concerned about the length, but it's plenty long and the razor can readily be positioned at different angles giving me plenty of reach to any part of my back. Well done, whoever designed this thing.

tl;dr: If you shave your back (or trim it, or whatever), you should get this. It cuts down on shaving time, improves reach, and improves comfort.HISTORY:I'm a fairly small guy without too much muscle, so I have a pretty good ability to reach my back with a regular razor anyway. There is, however, always this one area in the middle of the back I can never quite seem to get very well - consider that the more you contort your body to reach back there, you're altering the shape of your back by flexing your muscles, which doesn't create the smoothest surface to shave, and the angle of the razor head isn't going to be ideal either.Here is where the Razorba is stellar.By creating a long arm, you do not need to contort, and you can be more specific about the angle of the razor head against your back. It saves a lot more time and headache than I really anticipated.ALTERNATIVES:If you're considering this versus something like a Mangroomer, just get this. I have had both, and the Mangroomer had trouble maintaining charge, was more expensive, was loud, and you had to have redundant infrastructure and use multiple techniques on your back.With this you can start shaving the reachable areas with a razor, and then stick the same razor in the Razorba and complete your task.COST:Does it seem like a lot of money for what it is? Yes. But not when you consider how much shorter and more comfortable your back grooming experience will be.Are you only going to shave your back a few times? No.Are there any moving parts that are going to break? Not that I can tell.The cost-per-use will be so small in such a short amount of time you'll kick yourself for not getting it sooner.RAZOR COMPATIBILITY:I use Harry's razors (if you haven't checked them out, go to their website. They're cheap, like dollar shave club, but prettier) and the plastic handle fits in the Razorba perfectly. It is easy to put in and take out.BONUS:Since the Razorba cuts down the time and effort to shave, I do it more frequently, which means a nicer looking back more of the time.

Purchased this item for my husband who was tired of asking his wife to shave his back during the summer months. He absolutely loves the Razorba back shaver. The shaver is a good length which allows you to reach those hard to get to spots & with ease ! I would recommend this product for anyone who has issues reaching or even maybe might be good for those having a hard time bending to shave their legs. What an amazing invention ! Simple, elegant. Great solution. I like that I can use my preferred twin blade razor with this. I very much liked this and the product is solidly made and the delivery was ontime and exactly as expected. No surprises.

When I bought this, I was ready to write a very negative review because there was no way in hell the huge opening in the head was going to hold my razor. Just a Mach 3, but the razor handle was much too thin. Very quickly though, I figured out that if I pushed hard enough, there was a stiff rubber bushing back there that held it in place very well. Beyond that, it took a bit of time to understand the coordination involved, but it turned out well. The razor did not spin around or give me fits - the head did hold it very well. Off I went - still use it on my back to this day.

I've been shaving my back for many years because I have more hair on one side of my back than the other and felt self-conscious about it. It would be hard to not shave it anymore because I really like the feel when my neck and back are smooth.However it's never been easy to get it just right; especially the middle of my back. I've always asked my wonderful wife to help me out which she always has done cheerfully, but I always felt creepy and weird asking her every time.No more! She is free, and I can happily and easily take care of it myself with this Razorba. Even though I planned on using my regular razor blades, it came with one GOAT Wide Disposable Double Razor that's three times as wide and reminds me of a squeegee that you clean windshields at gas stations. Love the width and quickly picked up the extra 6-pack of these because I could finish up in about a third of the time. Razorba GOAT Wide Disposable Double Razor with Aloe Moisture Strip for Back Hair Shaving and Body Shaving, 6 Count You must go slowly and deliberately however! I got careless and slapped it on the middle of my back once when I was in a hurry and took out a chunk. That was all my fault though and have had no more issues. It's still a sharp blade and has to be handled with respect. 5 stars!Here's a quick tip for everyone using any kind of razor blades that the razor manufacturers don't want you to know:Disposable razor blades get dull quickly because the metal blades begin to oxidize from the first time they touch water. They will last almost TWICE AS LONG if you can slow down that process. Rinse any razor well after use and store them blade head down in a small cup of cooking oil. Light canola works best!
