Jrelecs Upgrade Waterproof BL3650 5200KV Brushless Motor with 60A ESC Combo Set for 1/10 RC Car Truck

The pictures on line look amazing! This being my first purchase of this product I wasn't expecting the top of the line best product ever made but this was somewhat disappointing. When the package arrived, the box was broken open. upon further inspection the motor was all scratched and dented, the scratches I don't care much about but the dents on the back plate and motor can sleeve make me nervous. There was (what I imagine to be) dog hairs on the motor cables and dust, furthermore the esc was a bust too. It looks like one of the wires was cut and glued back together and the deans connectors had white paint looking material on it.Like I said I wasn't expecting a $400 set up from a $50 purchase but I wont test this device in my car because if there is a problem with the motor or ESC I don't want a fire hazard and to melt my truck. I hope this information is helpful to future buyers. Maybe mine is the only one like this but just approach with caution because if you put on a $50 motor and ESC it just might burn down your $250 truck/car. I have owned the BLMotors set up and was happy with that one but they raised their prices 60% so I wanted to try this one. Maybe I am too picky but I think for your hard earned dollars just spending the extra to go with the competition may be a smarted option.

I bought this product on Saturday and it arrived on Sunday. That was really fast. I followed all the instructions for setting up the speed controller. Everything was working perfect. After the first battery I was really pleased with it. Put the second battery in, ran for a few minutes, and then here comes the smoke. First the fan quite. I thought that was odd. The next thing I know is smoke starts coming out. I quickly disconnected the battery, waited a few minutes and plugged the battery back up. Problem is nothing worked. This is obviously a cheaply made piece of junk. Very disappointing.Update:They’re customer services took care of me by giving me a another product. It was still missing a part but I’m happy with it.Thank you.

Good quality product for the price your paying.I wanted something to throw into my Traxxas Stampede just to bash and play around with, without having to pay $150+ out of pocket.This combo works perfectly for what I intended to use it for. I’ve been putting it through it’s paces on road and off. No issues thus far and still runs strong. I took it straight out of the box and put it into the car. I’m happy & content.I suggest using the proper spur and pinion combination as the manufacturer recommends for any brushless setup you may install. This is where a lot of people fail to pay attention and blame it on the electronics.

The computer originally worked fine until an electrical fire occurred. The fire started when I connected the battery and turned the car on, but before I got to drive the car. Also, while the power to the car was off, a red light on the cpu stayed on. But once I turned the car on, the light got even brighter. I used the computer on my Redcat Racing 1/10 scale. This is the second computer that I have bought and the first one still works fine. This is the only one that I have had a problem with.

Fast not much can beat it for the cost

DOA... Tried on a NiMh battery first, no chooch. 2s, see deal is with 3s... Bec works fine, motor doesn't attempt to budge
