I bought this Soft Slim 2mm Custom Teeth Night Guard after I became aware I was clenching my jaw/teeth in my sleep and mentioned it to my dentist. She told me I was wearing off the enamel on my teeth with the clenching activity. Now I’m getting a few hundred dollars of repair to those teeth, but she also recommended I get a mouth guard that was going to cost around $700. Yikes. I think I’ll try one off Amazon first thank you. So glad I did. This is thin enough to be very comfortable but thick enough to provide cushioning. And it fits my teeth perfectly. Another reason I’m glad I went with this guard instead of the one proposed my dentist: This kit comes with some molding material you put in your mouth and bite down on it for a few minutes - I think it was 5 minutes but I can’t remember exactly. My dentist’s mouth guard was going to require me to keep the molding material in my mouth for a half hour. I have a major gagging reflex whenever I have to have weird non-edible things in my mouth - like when I get dental X-rays. It was a little difficult for me to keep all the molding material in my mouth with absolutely no movement allowed (like gagging), but I did manage to do it for my few minutes. I can’t imagine trying to do it for a half hour with the dentist’s brand. It really wouldn’t have worked for me. In short, I am super satisfied with this mouth guard. So glad I saved more than $600 and went this route. Also, there is zero additional cost after you buy this kit. The molding material comes with the kit, along with a postage paid envelope to send the mold back to the company. They then make the guard and mail it back to you, again for no more cost. I received mine within 10 days despite sending it in right before Christmas when the postal services are pretty busy. Also if you are thinking about trying to do the cheaper versions from the drug store that you boil, bite down on then trim to fit - this is far superior. It will fit your teeth exactly and it is not thick an uncomfortable as those versions were in my experience.

Seeing several versions of these night guards here on Amazon, ranging form $50-$120, in a variety of hardnesses and such, I wasn't sure what to get. These were on the cheaper end, so I though I'd try them. I was very pleased with the progress - molding my teeth was easy, and there was a nice quick turnaround. And when it arrived, it fit perfectly! I've been wearing it for probably two months now, and I wash it every morning with a denture tablet. The boil-and-bite one I had tried before started getting a white crust in that amount of time. This is so much thinner and more comfortable that that one, it was absolutely worth it. And at 2/9 the price that my dentist wanted for a custom-molded one, I could buy it 4 ½ times and spend the same amount. Totally worth it, will buy again. By the way, they offer you to buy multiple night guards in different hardnesses when you do the tooth mold, or to pay for them to store the tooth mold. I didn't do that because I didn't know if I would like it, but I think having a backup might be nice.

My tooth has shifted after using for more than 3 months! This product has caused me pain from day one. I contacted Sparkling White Dental Labs to let them know it's causing me pain and I need a refitting. I did give it about 2-3 weeks to see if it was just a matter of getting accustomed to before contacting them. They said to boil it and that I can reshape it. I tried this. It still gave me pain. I know the fit is wrong in the front back which is pushing on 1 or more front teeth. Boiling doesn't make this go down. Also, when I boiled it, I was afraid it was melting. It didn't make a difference in changing the fit in the back side where the problem lies. Now, after wearing this night guard, I've noticed one of my front teeth has shifted, like a rotation and the other front tooth has a slight constant ache like if I wore braces part time.A little more info: I only wore this night guard on and off at first because of the pain it caused. However, my bruxism was causing severe pain to where I couldn't chew. So I've been wearing it nightly for about 2-3 months. This sucks that this is so expensive, causing me pain, and now after only using consistently for 3 months my front teeth are shifting. This wouldn't have happened if the company had properly fitted me in the first place. If I wanted a boil and fit night guard, I would've spent $60 less.

Very glad I made this purchase. I clench and grind my teeth in my sleep, so if I don’t use a mouth guard I wake up with a splitting headache. Of course the dentist wants over $300 to make a mouth guard, but this one is affordable and it’s made from the same material. This company made it really easy to get a good quality mouthguard quickly. They ship everything right away. When you receive the package to create the mould they include detailed instructions and a video on how to do it right. It’s actually easy to do and takes a whole 5 minutes and you’re done! Mailed it back in their prepaid package. I didn’t even have to wait two weeks and received my mouthguard. It fits perfectly. It’s not too thick so it’s comfortable. It’s soft and bendable, but it’s super tough. I grind pretty aggressively when I sleep and it’s not even damaged. I’m super, super happy. Worth every penny!!!
