Roasted Beef Tips

This dog treat - made in the US - all natural - is a good value for your money. It provides a limited ingredient healthy treat - the size of the treat is for small to medium dogs - although I have a large dog - I just give him more. Chewability is fine. Great for training as the product is small enough - does not crumble. He seems to like this treat - and I have purchased it 2 times now. Recommend

Amazon says I've ordered 17 times, but I'd thought it's more as these are now a staple. These can be treats individually or a snack as a handful. They are a harder crunchy treat, random sizes in the bag most an inch or so. Love that these are made in US and feels much safer than foreign made treats (most are) from places who dont care and aren't held accountable when they poison pets. Some time ago my pup had surgery and stopped eating a few days after, it had reached the point the vet told us in another day or so, he'd need to be brought back to the hospital and they'd need to hold him during his recovery to get nutrients in him. I tried everything; every other treat, new treats, McDonald's cheeseburger, home cooked steak and chicken, everything the vet recommended and he turned his nose up. Eventually I started tearing apart the pantry looking for anything and found a very old half bag of these (then specified as beef lung tips) they had to be expired and I didn't remember him liking them that much but sure enough it was the thing. Immediately ordered more and now never run out. Turns out one of his recovery meds was giving him an upset tummy and he just needed the right thing to spur his appetite and start eating again, it was these!

Dogs like them so far.

First, I was impressed with the amount you get for the money. These are GREAT! Exactly what I've been seeking. Light, evenly cooked (dehydrated?), no hideous smell, no fatty pieces, easy to cut/break into smaller pieces if necessary. The best part is my finicky dog LOVES them. These are not hard, like rocks, nor do they smell bad, which were the issues with the last brand I tried. (That brand was sourced in Turkey and I didn't notice that until after I purchased them.) A lot of these are already smaller chunks, so it will save time for cutting/breaking them into the appropriate treatie size. Yes, there are some crumbles in the bottom of the bag. It comes with the territory as made correctly, they are delicate and airy. I figure the crumbles are an "extra" treat when each bag is empty, to sprinkle on my dog's food. This has been a real slog finding something as good as what Merrick offered, with their discontinued Lamb Lungs. This brand is it! Even Merrick's beef lungs were too hard. Keeping my fingers crossed that these don't suddenly disappear from the market. Made in USA! Yay! Thanks to Green Butterfly for filling in this void in the pet treat market. Please keep making these!

Such a healthy natural treat for the dogs.

My dogs LOVE these treats! Big pieces for my larger dog and smaller pieces for my yorkies. They get so excited when I open the bag. Usually pretty reasonable in price.

My dog loves the treats, but it seems to be having a negative effect on his BM's so we have discontinued giving them to him. However, our next door neighbor has a large dog that visits them and he loves them. The treats are terrific for the right dog, but small dogs with sensitive digestive systems may not do as well with them. Still a great product for the right dog.
