I haven't had the opportunity to use this yet, but will soon. I've had the chance to familiarize myself with it and like what I have seen so far. I will update my review as soon as I return.

I have just used my adapter. Actually, I could not use it. When I want to put this adapter in the socket, every time it falls down. Both ports can not be attached to the socket, they can not stay in the socket, they just fall down. I am very disappointed. I hope seller has something to say about it. It is totally waste of money.

I bought two of these to bring with me on a trip across europe. They're so great. I think you could go to any country and be able to use these -- BUT keep in mind these do NOT convert electricity -- DON'T PLUG ANYTHING IN THAT DOESN'T HAVE IT'S OWN LITTLE TRANSFORMER ON IT (they're usually either built into the plug itself -- it makes them bulky, or they're in parts, which will connect to each other, for example, a laptop cord with the box in the middle.) You should be able to tell by the info printed on the plug that has the input amount like 100-240V... be sure to look up what the electricity output of the country you're visiting is. Most modern chargers (phone and laptop) can handle all the different levels in different countries, but simple electronics (like a desk fan) will either get too much electricity and overheat/catch on fire, or they won't get enough to function correctly.

This adapter not only works but is well made and small enough to find a place in my carryon, which has almost no space left for anything. It is NOT a 'voltage converter' so look carefully at your chargers. They should have a tiny label on them saying something like 'input 110v to 240v'. If your charger/power plug says that, then you don't need a voltage converter. Your charger is already capable of detecting the right voltage. All you need is something that will allow you to plug it into the wall. That is what this adapter does...and does well. If it just says 'input 110-120v' then DO NOT USE THIS ADAPTER with that charger. That charger/power plug requires 110 to 120 volts and the Europe plugs are 240 volts which will fry your charger and probably your device as well.

This was a replacement for one I left in my hotel. I travel extensively and have to have at least one of these all the time. It's easy to get one on the plane but why buy one at that price when you can buy several of these for the same price. Between needing to plug in my router and a couple of other electronics one is not enough anymore.Don't expect to use your flatiron with this, you'll need a converter for that. This is just an adapter and a very good one for an excellent price! There's a indicator light which lets you know if its receiving power. That really comes in handy because these things are always a little bit wobbly and you're not always sure if its plugged in properly. The light lets you know right away.

I purchased one of these awhile ago, and it fits all my travel needs perfectly. There is a locking mechanism on both ends to release the prongs that you will need, once they pop out, then you push the green sliding button to lock, to lock them in place. Photo shown is all prongs extended, I have used the British, Euro, and the US prongs, they all work as they should. Now the Seller is sending a little travel pouch with the plug, so it will fit in your cosmetic bag, or other luggage pockets.
