Adafruit Gemma M0 - Miniature Wearable Electronic Platform

Super easy to program with circuit python! Worked great from my projects

This board is awesome, but someone failed when they made this because the battery plug is backwards. Every single lipo I have has the leads the other way. You can't even buy them, except from Adafruit, with the leads swapped for this board. While it's easy to change a battery to be compatible with this, it might cause issues with your Gemma if you hook it up backwards.

These are perfect for small projects. I am using them to create door decorations for our upcoming Disney cruise. There are tons of information and code online at Adafruit's website and other places. I am not a coder, but it is pretty easy to follow.

Don't turn on, unable to return bc passed the return window. I ordered 10 at once, mailed individually in giant plastic bags, very wasteful. 2 did not work of 10

Purchased 2 for animatronic project. One wouldn't turn on straight out of the packaging. The other one worked without issue, able to flash code and do my project, but still disappointed only half of my purchase worked.

This is an easy microcontroller to get started with. There is built-in support for it in the Mu Python development app. You can even interactively give it Python commands using the Serial connection window. You can also use the traditional Arduino interface. Adafruit has a great tutorial on using the Gemma if you aren't familiar with Circuit Python. The alligator clip connectors make it very easy to attach other components. It only has 1 red and one color LED on the board, but it easily supports bigger Neopixel strings.That said, there are several limitations. First of all, you only get 3 GPIO pins, so you pretty limited in the number of things that you can connect concurrently. The less obvious limitation is the amount of available memory. It only has a few Python libraries included with it and when I tried to run a 2x16 character LCD disp[lay on it, by the time I added the needed support libraries, there wasn't any space left for the main program.

Produit fonctionnement très bien livré avec un petit programme python pour une animation de la diode sans programmation...Fonctionne aussi bien avec Arduino qu'avec python. 😀
