The media could not be loaded. I have been using a stir crazy for years, but now I need to make a big batch for when people come over. This works perfectly and makes great popcorn. The flip switches are crisp and the overall quality is superb. It fits perfectly on a small cabinet/countertop run that I had. Well worth the investment.

We borrowed this exact model from my brother for a party. We decided that we wanted one ourselves as we entertain a lot. We have great results. We use coconut oil and white popcorn with half a stick (2 oz) of melted butter per kettle and Morton popcorn salt. Sometimes I'll have some popped as our guests are arriving to snack on while socializing, or after a meal while playing games or Karaoke or just visiting. This is extremely popular. I don't really worry about popping too much too soon because the popper has a heated floor and heat lamp so it tastes fresh popped for a long time. It's easy to clean as our guests lick it clean, just kidding, but it is easy to clean. Everything can be removed easily. The floor is laser cut (perfectly) and is easy to lift out. The kettle unplugs and with the pull of a pin can be removed also, although we usually just wipe it out with a paper towel. It has drawer for the old maids, but it pops so well that there aren't many of those. It comes with a plastic scoop that belongs in a sandbox somewhere. We bought an aluminum scoop like they use for french fries, but we bought a bag of those paper boats and sometimes just scoop up the corn with the edge of those; Scoop serve scoop serve. I chose Paragon because of there reputation for making high quality popcorn machines. Stainless steel throughout, with fit and finishes that are unparalleled as compared to others. Along with a rock solid support sytem is why tower above other makers. Yes, they are more expensive than others, but you get what you pay for. I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and you will be too.

This is not a discounted used item, or an affordably priced item. There are many such poppers available for far less. This a premium priced product, but what I received was damaged. FOUR TIMES. First one - shipped from Amazon - had been opened, pulled apart and stuck back together haphazardly, causing some damage. The manufacturer took responsibility and sent another but that was far more damaged and had likely been opened too. The manufacturer then sent a third one that was factory sealed, but not inspected, as it had blisters under the paint and lettering on the front. Not acceptable for a premium priced item. These are quite heavy and I have had to hire help to open, move around and rebox them. Fourth one shipped had the doors misaligned and the company responded with a string of excuses claiming it was jostled in transit and could be fixed with a screwdriver. Fiddling with the screws made no difference. Then they claimed the legs were misaligned and it all could be fixed easily. They aren't and it can't. I've grown tired of the company's excuses and cannot recommend their products. Note another recent review pointed out the same problem with the doors.The so called warming light does nothing but glare into onlookers' eyes, and the heating element in the bottom is less effective than what you would find in an inexpensive toaster oven. It's only on one far side of the bottom, so there's only a slight amount of heat on about a third of the deck. This cost me so much wasted time, exhausting effort unboxing and reboxing and after receiving four damaged and flawed machines, I cannot suggest anyone else buy one and risk getting one that isn't damaged or flawed. I was never compensated for getting a damaged unit. They ignored all their failures to inspect for flaws before they shipped and complained about all the cost of the returns. So I end up with a damaged popper that I don't bother to use anymore. SAVE YOURSELF THE EXTRA MONEY AND TROUBLE and buy from another company.
