After a nightmarish evening in 3" Cole Haan stilettos - renowned for their comfort - I thought I would have to give up on wearing heels. I ordered about 5 different types of heel inserts in one last-ditch effort. These were the winner by far. My main issue isn't so much cushioning, but my feet slipping forward in pointed-toe shoes - my toes get pinched and my heel slips out the back. These are the ONLY insert I tried that effectively addressed that issue, even better than another pair of inserts with a shallow molded ridge specifically designed for that purpose (Acebone). The molding at the front edge of these is quite thick, so the ball of my foot sinks into the hollow area and is then held from moving by the front ridge. I also love the cushioning - I was surprised the first time I stood up to feel them squish! To test, I actually walked on the treadmill in my stilettos for about 5 minutes. Yes, the pointed toe still hurt, but I actually managed to walk properly in them - even power-walk at 3mph - instead of the unstable, slipping hobble-walk of before. BIG WIN. EDIT 5/1: Precise placement is paramount. Here are some tips after fiddling around with them (I now have them in 4 pairs of heels). They go further back than you might think. Never fully on the flat ball. The higher the heel, the further back they go. This helps prevent the toe becoming too tight, as well as also helping prevent slip-forward. I've found usually the back half of the insert will be up on the slope, and the front ridge will hit just in front of your ball joint, beneath the pad. This looks weird in the shoe - some overlap beyond the sole on the inside arch - but it feels much better! Sometimes it helps to tilt the insert outwards if your outer toes are further back than your big toe. This helps prevent squishing the outer toes, but it will look weird in your shoe.

Top. Unglaublich. Die besten Einlagen, die ich je hatte. Endlich funktioniert die Hilfe. Habe direkt nachbestellt für alle meine hohen Schuhe. Extrem empfehlenswert.

You have to buy half size bigger to use this otherwise the foot is so tight .
