This battery is rated for actual 9V *please note, this is non-rechargeable. NiMH 9V (rechargeable) or other rechargeable can be rated 8.4V or less.

Q: I have a 9v battery 6clr61. the battery being shown just says 9v. how do i know if this will work in my electronic device?

YES, this 9V Lithium battery can be used to replace your previous 9V Alkaline (6LR61) batteries without issue.

While we are not fully familiar with that specific model, we can offer some quick suggestions to determine what type(s) of battery pack is compatible with your model by: 1) Checking with the manufacturer or manual. 2) Check against your original (old) battery that came with the device. The battery information that users would need to look for will be to match chemistry, voltage, and battery dimension. If this matches then it will generally work. Additionally, we understand that some customers may want to upgrade their original battery to a Lithium battery - before doing so we'd like to caution and advise users to first check with the device manufacturer if it can support Lithium batteries, otherwise you may risk damaging the device.
