The Classic KC Daylighters - Gotta love 'em
So when I was a kid in the 70s, I remember seeing these KC Daylighters on Jeeps, trucks, Broncos, etc back then. Always thought they looked awesome and I must admit my tastes haven't changed. I know there are plenty of brighter, more efficient options nowadays, but those aren't KC Daylighters. Unless of course you get their high end stuff.... :) Nice quality as always, nice wiring harness included. Installation is easy if you know what you're doing, if you question if you know what you're doing.....you probably don't. :)

Very nice and very bright
Installed these on our 2020 Gladiator. Installation took about an hour or so. The kit was nice and had everything needed. The lights are very bright, they do get a little hot but that’s not unexpected. So far we’re very happy with them.

KC HiLiTES 238 Daylighter
I have been looking for off road lights for my Jeep for a while, and when I saw the price on Amazon I couldn't pass up the opportunity. Overall I am very happy with the product and would buy again given the choice. The Good: Complete wiring harness - The 232 kit, while very similar, does not have a complete harness and relay as stated in the description. For only a few dollars more, get the 238 system and save most of the headache of wiring the lights up. Easy to install - Instructions, while minimal, are very straighforward and easy to understand. With so many applications across many vehicles, there are no specifics for installing in a particular make or model, so make sure to know your vehicle before starting this project. Very Bright - After getting everything wired up the evening they arrived, i turned them on in my garage to test them out before cleaning up. They easily outshined the 75W bulbs in my my garage, seemed like daylight in the two stalls. The Bad: Complete wiring harness - While it is nice to have all of this together, it is a universal fit. Wasn't able to mount the relay where I originally wanted it due to some lengths of wire being to short. Have some extra wire and connectors ready to make sure you get a clean install the first time. Paint on Lights - Shortly after taking them out of the box, I was examining one of the lights and the metal tube that comes out of the light to protect the wires brushed against the top of the light leaving a sizeable scratch. Paint on the lights is fair at best, probably wouldn't hurt to use some clear coat on them before install. 1/2 inch posts - while I'm sure this helps keep everything strong and secure, if you are mounting on a bumper, be prepared to drill some pretty big holes. For about $100 on sale, these lights are hard to beat from a tried and trusted brand that offers a 23 year warranty on their products. I was disappointed about the paint scratching so easily, but I personally don't mind taking the extra time to fix the issue for the price.

Pricey but cool
Put these on my old Toyota. Look great, work great but mostly for show. Expensive and you'll probably need the extension kit like I did. Might want to order that too rather than wait and stall you job like I did. For a pickup, stock length wouldn't reach to my dash.

Bought a 2nd pair!
Attached these to my Yakima Megawarrior cargo basket with the light mounts they offer.. Had to order a replacement pair because a tree branch took out my other pair (the bolt ripped out of the riveted section attached to the bottom of the light, possibly can be set back in and refold the peeled back edge back around the bolt). Provide plenty of light and blend in well with the KC 417s I have on my bull bar. Harness comes with relay and all wires and other accessories needed for installation. Diagram helps a lot even though its quite universal: 12V Relay - Mount near the battery, because the Yellow/White wires are quite short. Yellow and White from relay - Attach to red (positive) terminal on battery. Black from relay - Ground, somewhere in engine bay. Green and White from relay - Find a place in the firewall, like a rubber seal, that you can pass these wires through under the dashboard near the steering wheel column (or wherever you would like to install the switch), my 4runner had unused tabs I drilled a hole in and put the switch in. Brown - Separate wire used for the ground for the interior switch, run through the same point in the firewall the previous wires are. Hardest part is finding a way to conceal the wires, but with creativity it can be done.. Check out my Youtube channel for videos on this installation.
