Replaced dead built-in mic of laptop. In Windows sound settings, moved input level up all the way, yielding "20%" level for sound test. AI apps were able to transcribe spoken audio input perfectly. Only needed to plug in (and I will be leaving it in) an available USB-A port. No drivers or installation steps needed. I don't know if it has meeting-quality audio, but I have blue-tooth and other USB mics for those uses. Great value.

My think pad built in mic stopped working. I am constantly in zoom meetings so needed a fix fast. These were very cheap and worked simply by plugging it in— no set up, no hassle. Maybe it is not as high fidelity as other options, but for conference calls it is working great

Amazing add on to eliminate fumbling around to find your headset to take a conference call. I’m very impressed with how clearly others hear me on the other end and it does a good job of staying focused on my area and doesn’t pick up a bunch of background noise. Even when I don’t mute, they don’t hear their own voice coming back like an echo on the other end. Bought more to give to the rest of the team and they love em as well.

I added to my Laptop to use with Teams/Chat GPT/CoPilot. It will record the conversation and then give you a detailed print out of everything said. Remember to introduce the parties in the conversation and it record accordingly.

Super good quality mic. Plus can’t beat the price for 2. I’m using it for my large desktop that doesn’t have a mic installed. And this one works perfectly for zoom or Voice dictation.It’s been a while since I ordered them and they’re still going strong, working perfectly, and I even move them from my desktop to my regular portable computer

As the title says this mini usb mic does not pick up audio well at all. Don't expect to sit more than a foot away from this usb mic and it capture your voice clearly... because it won't. Even with levels maxed out for mic gain you will not get a good audio volume from this usb mic. With that said I suggest you save your money and buy something that can pick up audio better as this probably is not what you are looking for. You would be better off buying a cheap usb headset with a mic.

The microphone built into my laptop is FUBAR. Couldn't find a reasonably priced replacement, and having a standing microphone would make transporting the laptop awkward. Enter these things. They're tiny. All I have to do is sacrifice one USB slot. The description says all you have to do is plug and play, but in my case, the microphone volume was set to 0 in windows settings. Fortunately I know how to change that but other reviews mention this was a deal breaker for them. After getting it properly set up, the mic quality is just OK. For me, this is fine, but don't expect a miracle from these.
