unique cap gun book
This is an excellent reference book on cap guns, from the more common to the interesting and rare and extraordinary. There are several illustrations on each page, and and a price guide for each gun. An excellent book for collecting ideas.

Limited scope - disappointing.
As a UK collector I was disappointed that the toys covered in this book were pretty much confined to early US-manufactured toys, most which would have had limited sales within that country. Little reference was made to post 1950s models and almost nothing about Lone Star, Lesney and other British models. Likewise there is no reference to European or rest of the world models either.This book would probably be of use and interest in middle-America but not really beyond that except for curiosity value.
