I like to have these on hand for tiny applications in crafting. They were fantastic.

We are treating out cat for chronic kidney disease and administer fluids daily to help flush out the toxins his kidneys are not, so we are trying different needle sizes, figuring out which ones hurt the least without compromising the fluid flow. Our Vet gave us a lower numbered gauge needle, which is thicker and not recommended for daily use. This 21G needles is slightly thinner than that 18G that was hurting him and this one did not pinch as much going in, since it is longer we only put in half way, which worked out fine and better than the shorter one, since he tends to move around and sometimes pushes the needle out. Because of the smaller needle the flow was slower, so it did take use longer to administer all the fluids, but that is a tradeoff to make, not only with less pain for the kitty, but with a smaller needle there is less of a hole which will be faster to heal. The needle was easy to put on and take off, and it fit perfectly on the I.V. line, and it secured tightly so there were no drips or leaks while the fluid was flowing. These are sterile and individually wrapped, and are nice quality needles, whether you are using them as we are or you need them for something else.

These needles are very sharp, which is what you want when giving yourself a shot. They make the injection painless. All are individually wrapped and sterilized. These work with luer lock and work with regular syringes as well. They are made in China, which I am not crazy about. I ordered the 27 gauge but they come in many different sizes. This is a great price for 100 needles. Overall I am happy with these.

I have no complaints about these. They're sharp, they work like they should. They are a bit too short, but I wanted to try something smaller than 1/2". There's nothing in between the two, so I'll have to get 1/2" next time.

Excellent for prepping and dividing bulk medications into smaller vials, or as draw needles.
